Warm, cosy and welcoming environment in a homely and stylish farmhouse. Elaine is a fantastic host, she gave me a tour of her farm which included two charming donkeys! Elaines pets were great fun and good company in the evenings. I feot like I was at home or visiting a friend or neighbours house. A genuinely wholesome experience. Anything I needed was made available without even asking.

We had a wedding in Gloster House and Barry's home was very close to this. We were greeted by Eithne Barry's wife when we arrived and we were able to check in early which was great help. Eithne was so Friendly and kind. Room was lovely and clean and spotless bathroom. We met Barry the next morning and a lovely man also, we felt so at ease and had a good chat. Barry also dropped us down to Gloster House next morning to get our car. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone Eithne and Barry were lovely Hosts.

Pat and his family were great hosts made us feel very welcome and at home in their house. Everything was just as it was in the pictures. Would definitely recommend this to others

Everything was perfect. Lovely bedroom with ensuite toilet and shower, very comfy bed, fabulous view of the countryside, and Geraldine was so lovely.

Barry & Eithna were very welcoming into their home . We had a lovely stay and provided us with breakfast in the morning .Would come back again .

We loved staying at Rosalind’s home while attending a wedding in Birr! The place was super central in Birr town, and had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the unique character and charm of the house. It’s clear so much love and creativity has gone into it! Only wish we could have stayed longer. Rosalind was so kind and communicative with us, and makes you feel incredibly taken care of. She is probably the most thoughtful and hospitable host I’ve had on Airbnb - and that’s without even meeting her in person! As she was going to be away during our stay, she arranged for a friend to help us with our check in, who was lovely and very accommodating with our early check in time, and late check out, and also kindly dropped off fresh breakfast goodies the next morning! We will definitely stay if ever back in Birr!

I've stayed with Bernie twice now and I absolutely love the space. It's a short, easy drive from Tullamore and other amenities. The breakfast and sitting room gets such nice light in the morning and afternoons, it's very hard not to tarry there longer. The ensuite and room are as listed and very clean. Hairdryer and flat iron provided with small vanity mirror. Bernie is a wonderful host, responsive and thoughtful. Highly recommend to others looking for some quiet space in the country.
