The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. Absolutely amazing!! The house is gorgeous and appointed with outstanding furniture and amenities. The setting on the hillside is truly amazing. We loved it!! I want to come back again.

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

Can highly recommend this home with large, lovely garden and several sunny patios. Located at perfect distance to Strömstad and nature experiences. Fully equipped cottage in quiet area. Warmly welcomed host couples who really care about your stay being as good as possible. I will be back!

Well planned and very cozy cabin near the lake. The garden had plenty of room for activities for the kids. Henrik was very easily accessible when we had questions about directions and other things. We were there over a weekend but would have loved to stay longer!

We had a fantastic weekend in Humletorp. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we wanted. The accommodation was clean and fresh, Grace was a communicative, helpful and professional host, who had also fixed a nice welcome basket upon arrival. Can recommend the place to anyone!

A great friend weekend at Ola's cabin. We have been here earlier about 1 year ago and would love to come back. We had nice weather, hikes nearby. Enjoy games at night. Recommended both for families and friends. All equipment is there, good beds, large cabin. Peacefully and relaxing. Ola responds quickly and provides accurate information. Recommended!

It was a unique experience to stay in this cottage for a few days. Sigrid and her husband were great and very friendly hosts who really took care of us. The town of Hamburgsund is picturesquely beautiful and you can do a lot there. I highly recommend this place.
