Best house I’ve ever stayed at, fantastic. We were a large group of 17 people (5 kids) which came together from different countries and cities to chill and have fun. House offered everything it described, unbelievable architecture, great amenities, very cozy and clean, easy to reach. Large kitchen, comfortable furniture, fantastic patio, workable grill. Surrounding is decent (dry dock for speedboats and yachts next to the house), but still very calm (if you don’t count the local chickens and dogs which are providing the natural environment). The doors and windows are, however, brilliantly insulated so basically you will hardly hear anything when in one of the rooms. Till was a great host, always responsive and helpful in all aspects! Gave us recommendations, helped us prepare everything upfront, kudos. We definitely hope to return to Stara Škola for another great experience.

An absolute dream house! I'd love to move in here. Very nicely decorated, clean and cozy. The pool, hot tub, the grill and everything was just perfect! Beautiful corners to sit outside, very green and welcoming. Location super quiet with quiet farm atmosphere (sheep and a few roosters opposite). It was very relaxing. You have to drive a bit to the sea. But we preferred to be by the pool all day anyway. Other pluses: huge cooling tank, gas, and! Coal grill, badminton, mosquito repellent on windows, mosquito spray and even something to aftertreat the mosquito bites! Chelsea has really thought of everything. Also very friendly and helpful! We fell in love. So in the house and a bit also in Chelsea <3

Wonderful house and great host. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and well worth the price. You have direct access to fresh herbs, homemade wine, rakia, jam, and eggs by the host. Perfect for a quiet time away from traffic noise and light pollution. Walking distance to several nice hiking locations. Would love to stay here again.

there were four of us with a dog at the villa! a beautiful house with unheated, very clean pool! the garden is huge and fenced. Perfect for the four-legged friend! private parking with electric courtyard gate! Pure luxury! Very comfortable beds! the apartment was incredibly clean! no dust, nothing! cleaner than most hotels, even some 5 star houses are "dirty" if you want to call it that in this class! But the decor is definitely worth 5 stars. Very new, well-designed & sparkling clean Martina is almost always available and very friendly! She speaks good, understandable English and organizes contactless without her own presence! very pleasant if you don't know exactly when you will arrive! all interesting cities of Istria can be reached in half an hour, there are many supermarkets in 10 minutes by car! we will definitely be back! probably if it's a little warmer so you can get better in the pool too!

We were guests as a family of 4 in Esther's small, Istrian cottage. Ester, as well as her daughter Edita, were super friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The excursion destinations Edita recommended to us were great. 😃 The parking is located behind the house, the driveway or exit is a bit tricky due to the adjacent olive trees, but otherwise no problem. The pool is not visible from the street and is located a bit off the house. We liked to use the sun terrace, even though one or the other hallway was no longer completely intact. The beds are perfect, we slept very well in it. Beds are made and there are plenty of towels. The kitchen is well equipped so that you can prepare all kinds of things. Air conditioning on all floors, also a plus. 👍 Close the windows that you don't hear about the traffic. A perfect starting point for things to do for us. Thank you! 🫶

We have been to this beautiful cottage for the second time and it was absolutely fantastic again! The house is well equipped, very clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The pool is a real highlight. Our two dogs also felt completely comfortable and enjoyed the stay. A very big thank you to the warm host – as always, everything was perfectly prepared and we felt immediately welcome. I'm sure we'll be back!

The house is amazing, the pool is great, especially with the indoor Jacuzzi, the kitchen is bright and beautiful, and very peaceful surroundings in the middle of nature. In walking distance, you find a local restaurant in a lovely 200 year old town - the smallest city in the world. Bring your supermarket purchase ride with you, then you can enjoy interrupted vacations. The host family is great, always helpful, always there if you need them for good advice. we felt very well treated and welcome. We had a wonderful time and we’ll definitely come back in the future. We stayed here for one week with our 3 kids. The place is beautiful, very quiet yet close to Koper, a animated city (about 10 min by car). It's a good spot to start a trip to one of several beaches (20-30 min), famous caves (30-40 min) or Ljubljana (1h drive) or even hiking in the Triglav area (2h drive). The house itself is very nice, clean and offers everything you need. The kids especially loved the big pool which they could access whenever they wanted. Andreja is very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of great Tips. Thank you very much!

We spent 5 nights with our two children in this beautiful house. Everything is very high quality, tastefully furnished. Right next to the house is a bar where locals meet outside in the evening. The bedroom on the first floor opens directly to the street - so you feel in the middle of the action. From here we were able to take wonderful excursions in all directions.

Everything was great, host Elvis helpful and always available. Recommendation.

We had a great time in Hiša Majda. The place is very cozy. The kitchen was really well equiped, which enabled us to prepare some great meals with local ingridients. A great spot to simply chill and walk around and a great starting spot to explore Istria. Would very much recommend!

This house is a little paradise. It is friendly, it made us feel directly “at home”. The view from the garden towards the sea is spectaculair. We stayed with two little kids who loved to play in the garden. It is a very beautiful house with a safe (surrounded) beautiful garden in a quiet small village. The house is well equiped with a dish washer and everything you need. Nice detail is that there is no tv, but plenty of more rewarding activities such as making a fire in the fire place, bbq’ing, chilling in the hammock, playing the guitar, Reading a book: Nejc is a very kind host. We definitely recommend this place.

Olya's Motovun home is a beautiful space located on a quiet pedestrian path, just below a charming church, bell tower, and one of the town's gates. It’s impeccably designed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully curated. Highly recommend either the entire home - if it suits your party size - or the downstairs apartment.

Charming house with great location and responsive hosts...

We used the place as a base for a motorcycle vacation. Since we were traveling with a trailer, we needed a convenient location and enough space to maneuver. We had both of these in excellent measure at Emanuel's place. In addition, the house was perfect for us. We had enough privacy, the city was not far, shopping and restaurants were more than enough within the vicinity. Besides, Emanuel is a really nice guy. He was always nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable with him.

Well restored, spacious family house (4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), with a delicious swimming pool to cool off after visits. The location of the house allows you to visit the main sites in Istria, southern Slovenia, go swimming in the Adriatic Sea and get away from the crowds that accumulate on the coast. Mauricio gave us a warm welcome and allowed us to taste its olive oil (a treat) and its white wines. Mauricio has provided us with many useful tips for visiting the region, discovering gastronomy (special mention for dinner at the agrotourismo), and ensuring a return by avoiding the world on the road. Our stay at Mauricio's was very pleasant, a place of choice to discover this region of Croatia.

A beautiful house, in a great location, easy to reach Umag and Novigrad with the car. Also close to toll motorway to travel further. We did day trips to Rovinj, Trieste and Cape Kamenjak. We were a family group of 9, house was more than big enough. 4 very large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. Great living area space! The pool and garden was our favourite area. We loved games of volleyball and having bbqs on the patio. All in all we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this house! Communication with Vanessa before and during our stay was very good

Tamara and Marko are extraordinary hosts - welcoming, caring, and very kind. The accommodation is impeccable and tastefully furnished. We had a lovely stay in Istria thanks to its beautiful things to visit and especially thanks to the Istrians!

It was a pleasure staying here. The house is located in a quiet town just outside of Poreč, with everything you need close by. The build quality is among the best I've seen in Croatia – everything feels solid and is made with high-quality materials. Both the interior and exterior are beautifully designed and well-maintained. Mario has been incredibly helpful, taking care of even the smallest details. Thank you for having us!

Check-in was very good. Rene was very friendly and funny. He showed us the most important thing and then immediately let us do our thing. For all questions we had over the period, he was immediately available. Everything was clean and the outdoor area with kitchen, pool and soccer field were worth gold. We celebrated my birthday there and are already considering whether to book again for next year. The checkout was also very relaxed and accommodating.

Gorgeous little house just outside Umag. Two minutes stroll to the sea and a couple of restaurants/beach bars. The house comes with an SUP and two bikes which was great. We drove into Umag most evenings for dinner where there are loads of restaurants, we particularly liked the ones along the sea front. We also drove to Rovinj which is beautiful and Porec. We felt Umag was nicely off the beaten track, away from other busy places in August.

Villa Motovun is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. The house has been renovated with such care to detail, it has kept the traditional character but is completely modernised with all amenities you would need. We loved the colour schemes, the materials used. It was so comfortable, with many seating areas, very comfortable, large beds (super important!), every room with en-suite bathroom. The views from the terrace of the Mirna valley and Groznjan in the distance are stunning. We loved having the little heated pool, the sauna and the pool table. The local wine ‘mini bar’ was also nice and we could help ourselves to a bottle of local Malvasia or Teran. All in all a gem in a beautiful medieval hilltop town, walkable to some really good restaurants serving amongst other things, local homemade pasta with truffles, or wild asparagus in the spring. Thank you Zeljko for your hospitality. We hope to be back again soon.
