Harbour and small beach across the road. Within 2 hours of high tide you can access Whangateau harbour right off the deck. 2 neighbouring properties (listed as "A Kiwi Classic") mean you can be together or separate for family groups of up to 20 or more.

Our stay at 188 was awesome. It is a quintessential Kiwi bach in idyllic surroundings with lots of safe spaces for kids and dogs. The entire Whanau had lots of fun and laughs & we are sure to be back. Appreciate Tracey & Stanley's hospitality.

A modular bach with lots of separate rooms, older but has everything you need. Right across the road from the beach on a quiet street at Hihi. Easy care, extra hot in the sun, lots of comfort. Excellent communication from a great host.

We had a fantastic stay at Joss’ place. She really thought of everything to make the stay comfortable as the house was incredibly well equipped with toiletries, kitchen supplies, smart tv with Netflix and lovely bedding. The outdoor seating was great for enjoying the beautiful weather and we all loved the outdoor shower for after the beach!

We had a lovely time at Birdsong and everything provided for our stay was great and delicious. We loved the garden outlook and the bbq amenities. It is a well established and well maintained property, the gardens are beautiful and everything was sparkling clean and we immediately felt relaxed and welcomed by Anna

Sharlene is a very easy host to communicate with via text, answering questions promptly and offering information, her home is full of old world charm but with modern appliances. Although in a commercial area, it is hidden away with a lovely garden area and deck to relax on, within in easy reach of beaches or a trip to the Cape

This modern farmhouse was such a dream! Stylish, spacious, and set in a peaceful rural landscape. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bedrooms were cozy, and the open living space had stunning views onto a working farm. It was also a short drive to Te Arai Links, so it’s ideal for golf lovers or anyone seeking a relaxing rural escape near the beach. The outdoor deck was perfect for morning coffee, and Lois was fantastic - attentive and full of great local tips. We can’t wait to return!
