Beachfront vacation rentals in Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Great spot to stay to explore Manitoulin. The location is very central so it's quick to drive to the top spots. Fire pit and beach access at the location is a great perk. Nano is a very friendly and responsive host, helped us with some small issues during our stay.

Our family was here for a few days on our road trip. It’s definitely a more rustic cabin. But has amazing views and we definitely enjoyed kayaking and the beach. One thing that I didn’t realize before booking is this house is on land where other family is. We didn’t run into anyone (other than the step dad showing us around when we got there) but I feel it’s worth noting. The beach is on their property too. The house also had a lot of family photos and personal belongings. Which made it almost feel like you were staying in someone’s house. All and all, it was a good stay, just feel like these would be things that people may want to know.

Our stay was lovely. So private and so beautiful. It was a grounding experience to be so close to nature. Decks with seating surround the entire cabin giving a tremendous opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

We enjoyed our stay at Rene’s house very much. The living area is spacious, making it the perfect space for my family reunion of 6 to hang out, play games and cook (BBQ grill, well stocked kitchen utensils and appliances, table for 6 on the porch looking out to the water, etc). The private waterfront is gorgeous - the house is located down a private and quiet road, making it a very relaxing and peaceful setting. The pre-teens also loved the badminton net and trampoline! We had no issues with the house, but Rene was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Rene’s house and all it provided allowed us to make many lasting memories.

We had a wonderful stay at Valentina’s place! The house was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the location near the lake was perfect—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. My family, our dog Buddy (a black Standard Poodle), and I truly enjoyed our time there. Valentina is an excellent host, providing clear and thoughtful instructions—like removing shoes indoors—which we also do at home, and it definitely contributes to how clean everything is. The firewood sauna was a great experience. Although the hot tub jets weren’t working during our stay, but it was also pleasent in the chilly evenings Overall, it was a fantastic stay !

I stayed at SUNY's three nights in October and had a wonderful vacation. The cottage is so comfortable, organized and welcoming. The view and the grounds are spectacular. Nicholas was accommodating and shared some location recommendations. Hope to visit again!

Spent a few days here and loved every minute of it. Place is comfortable. Woodstove for chilly nights and crystal clear lake for hot days to swim in. Thanks Jay and Christine for being fabulous hosts!

Sharon was an amazing host! She responded quickly when we had a few questions prior to the trip and kept in contact during our stay. Her place was very clean and had everything we needed. I would 100% recommend a stay at Sharon’s cabin. Thanks Sharon!

Waking up to the view of the lake was such a treat! The bedrooms were cute, clean, and comfortable, and the yard was amazing—with a fire pit that overlooks the water. We really appreciated the kayaks and paddleboards available to guests at no extra cost, and the barbecue setup made for a great evening. The driveway can be a little tricky if you're parking a larger vehicle like a pickup truck, but it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, a fantastic stay—highly recommended!

I had a fantastic time, the cottage was fantastic and the view was spectacular. I definitely would like to return next year. I also highly recommend this cottage to anyone who needs to relax and get away!

What a great place to stay! Great location and view! Greg was a good host and would come back! The house was ready and clean. Was plenty to do and enjoyed our time!

I felt at home from the time we entered the property. The cottage was very spacious and had a lot of natural light coming in. The sunroom/ living room was my favorite. You felt even when you were inside, you were still connected to the outside with all the windows. Outside it had a large deck, with a covered portion, and step down you could sunbath. The lake side was amazing, having crystal clear water and paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe. If that wasn’t enough, there was an amazing sauna that also had windows that allowed you to see the kids swimming in the lake. Bridal veil falls and the cup and saucer trails are really close by, which makes this property amazing. I will definitely book this property again.

What a lovely spot on a beautiful lake. The location was central to get to so many places. Kyra was wonderful in responding when we needed things. Everyone commended on how clean the vintage cottage was. We certainly want to come back and highly recommended it.

Beautiful place - the location and the house were great. The house had all the amenities one could ask for. The hosts have been very thoughtful. There were lots of toys for the kids. The place was spotless and the decor is tasteful. Really enjoyed the view and the sound of the water!! I would love to come here again with my family.

I highly recommend this cozy getaway! It was above and beyond our expectations. Plenty of games and amenities to keep you busy but also a lot of places to relax and read a book. If the sky is clear at night, the stars are beautiful. Host is very responsive, polite, and she made sure we had everything we needed.

If you are looking for 5 star luxury this is not for you....but if you are looking for 5 star super clean, quiet, amazing beach and hosts then this is for you!!!! Thank you Elaine and Gary.

Wonderful! The scenery was beautiful, the house was furnished perfectly and communication with Grace was quick. We partook in games that were provided and were able to utilize the back dock to launch our kayaks. The sunroom provided the perfect spot to read a book overlooking the water while the sun came up. Would highly recommend.

Nancy and Doug were very fast in their response during our stay and very accommodating. The location and the view were hard to beat with the access to the water and the waterfront patio. I would recommand bringing water shoes since the rocks are slippery to access the water but you can buy them in town for 25$. We were 7 adults and a baby and had a great stay, would definitely go back to their cottage!

The place is nice, beautiful place by the lake. Everything was great but there were just to many little flies due to the fact that it is just in the woods
