Here, great ski is offered in/out for cross country skiing in winter, and great hiking areas with the possibility of picking e.g. blueberries, lingonberries and mules in the fall. Cozy house with old atmosphere Idyllically located by the Telemark Canal between Vrangfoss and Lunde locks. Here you live close to the canal where the canal boats drive past daily during the summer months. In winter, there are great ski tracks in the area. The house is built together with a newer house, separated via a large hall. Guests currently have the entire place for themselves. Short distance to nice places/activities; Lifjell, Bø Sommarland, Svenseid Alpakka, Øvreverk handverkstun, several locks, great bike trails, etc.

Farm shop with bakery is the closest neighbor, who serves fresh baked goods every day outside of Mondays. Gvarv is centrally located to most attractions in Midt-Telemark and Nome, such as Bø Sommerland, Høyt and Lavt, Norsjø Kabelpark, Norsjø Golfpark and Telemark Canal. Our residence at Ulefoss, is architecturally built to frame Telemark Canal's largest lake, Norsjø. The home is 100 m2 with 2 bedrooms, alcoves with 4 beds (playroom), kitchen, 2 living rooms, bathroom with steam shower and unashamed terrace. On the down side are docks, islets and the possibility of swimming, fishing and canoeing. Other; Sommarland in Bø (Norway's largest water park), Norsjø Golfpark and Gullbringbadet are short away, and affordable to use. Feel free to ask host if wish to borrow canoe, redn.vester etc.

Here there is rental of bikes, canoes and kayaks for excursions in scenic surroundings. From Strengen it is also a short way along Flåvatn to Kilen camping with beautiful child-friendly beach, Telemark Sommarland in Bø, Ulefoss main farm, Øvreverk handverkstun, Norsjø Golfpark and much more.
