Ivory House is a small contemporary safari house designed for couples on honeymoon or just a celebration of love. The house is a gorgeous open plan setup with a seven meter sliding door.The house is just two hundred metres from the Kruger National Park fence. We do offer meals here at Ivory House which must be arranged 24hrs in advance and subject to availability South African Braai 🍖 ( BBQ dinner - grilled on the fire ) can be arranged for guests at R300. This detached self-catering house is decorated in African style with a stunning swimming pool (depth 1.6m+martini seat) integrated in the "stoep" (veranda). Attached is an outside (tree) shower and of course a large african braai and firepit. The House also has a Back Up system to help through the dark hours of Loadshedding in SA. Simply magnificent, we had the experience of a lifetime for us Swissies at Ebony House. It’s spacious, clean without too much „schnickschnak“ and quiet. We only heard the Lioness roaring before bedtime and Elefants walking past while eating on the porch. Mjejane Game reserve is beautiful and Jared is just the BEST!

Fine house, thoughtful and very helpful hosts. Decent kitchen and braii, good wine glasses - these are the things that matter! The wildlife visiting the deck was a treat - feeding kudu from a bucket, zebra from the hand - carefully… For those who don’t know Marloth Park, it’s a large, secure, gated estate. Walking after dark is discouraged because there’s a small risk from predators, not crime…. Two supermarkets, butchers and the pub are a minute’s drive away. Hope to make a repeat visit soon.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Gecko Lodge and will definitely be back for a longer stay. The lodge is very well equipped, clean and neat, beautiful outdoor space and very private. Ngwenya is situated very close to the Crocodile Bridge Gate and also close enough to Malelane Gate. Yvonne is very responsive and helpful.

We made a last minute booking, Ina and James were so quick to get back to us. They had us checked in within 30 mins of us booking. James was so friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us great recommendations and showed us around the property. The house is amazing, just as seen in the pictures. Beds are comfortable. And has all the amenities you would need plus more. And in addition to a great place to stay you get some amazing visitors in your back yard! Highly highly recommend staying here. It is also only 25 mins from Crocodile Bridge entrance gate to Kruger National Park.
