Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ngongotahā Valley

Everything about Greg and Ana's place was perfect for our trip to Rotorua. Set on the edge of a park with a gated section, easy Uber, drive or walk to town. From comfy beds and full kitchen to a private deck and spa this place is definitely recommend. Ana gave us a wonderful list of great restaurants and cafe's to choose from and we had a brilliant time at Poco Tapas & Wine. Thank you both for sharing your lovely home.

It was a very good place to stay. Graham and Sarah are very friendly, easy to talk and helpful couple. They have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. They have horses, cows, sheep and pigs that we could feed - the kid loved it. The bunk beds were a big hit for my kid. I would stay here again next time I go to Rotorua and I wouldn't need to go anywhere,I could stay the whole day at this house. There is so much to do games, BBQ, table tennis etc etc.

Clean, comfortable accommodation. Nice and close to the Redwoods. Highly recommend for families visiting Rotorua.

Beautiful house for the families, lots of toys for the kids.lots of outdoor space. though we get few wet days on holiday our home was so amazing so everyone of us had something to do in that space. House is well settled with everything we needs on holiday nothing extra to pack. 🥰thanks Colin

Atiamurphy is one of the best AirBNB places we have stayed at. Service provided, Host Communication and the Location, is perfect, for me at least. kids will have a blast, parents will get their peace, and travellers will scratch that itch whilst here! Portia’s home is exceptionally clean and tidy, making us feel right at home. It’s beautifully decorated in a modern and sophisticated style. The living room is spacious, and the large garden filled with various plants adds a lovely touch of nature. It’s clear that Portia is someone who truly appreciates and enjoys life. We had a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing time at Carols place. The lakefront house is relaxing and peaceful. Will recommend for people looking for a cozy getaway but still close to town and shops.

Where to start? Stuart’s place is an absolute gem! Impeccably presented, beautifully furnished, light-filled, private, cosy; everything my partner and I were after in a home away from home for a week. Barbara and Tim were top-notch hosts! They went out of their way to locate a shop which offered an activity we were looking to do, always responded to my messages promptly and proactively offered help and checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable without being intrusive. The unit is pristine, completely furnished with all the features one could want (kitchen and red wine glasses were AWESOME) and is easily accessible from the road and within the property. Throw in a million dollar view from the property and this is one of the best stays you could hope to find.

The checkin instructions were very clear and it was extremely easy to get in and get settled. The place had almost everything we need. It’s very spacious and the sofa was comfortable as a bed. The lake is very close by and serene. The places is very close to the redwoods. Definitely recommend this place.

The host is VERY understanding and kind. I booked the wrong date and wasnt able to go, but the host is so forgiving that he helped me with everything he can for me not to waste my money🙏 I can say that he is so kind and really a reliable person. We felt very welcomed at Phil’s home. Everything was tidy when we checked in, and Phil came by to greet us and introduce the space. He also pointed out the beautiful views and recommended interesting local activities. During our stay, it felt like a home away from home—but with spectacular scenery!

Susannes is a very friendly and welcoming host who makes you feel at home directly. The place is clean and centrally located close to the bus stop but still quiet at night so that you can get a good night's sleep. Fully recommended.

I really recommend staying at Barb's place, it's got everything you would need for a short or longer stay. There's lots to do in the area and Barb gave some great recommendations and helpful information. As a host Barb is the best I've ever had, fast response time, friendly and very helpful, she really goes above and beyond!

Great home

We had an amazing four night stay here. The apartment was excellently furnished, the location effectively on the lakefront was fantastic and the outlook across the lake to Mount Tarawera was beautiful. We could not have wished for more. Thank you Murray for being such a great host

The Airbnb was really handy to the city so we were able to walk to Eat Street for a meal and not have to worry about drink driving. The apartment was very roomy and very clean. Good bed linen too. It’s a quiet street, no real,road noise which was nice.
