Vacation rentals with a kayak in Netherlands Antilles

We rented both units Sol and Luna for our group of six. It was perfect. The pool was the ideal place on our hot days. Everything we needed was a short drive from our place (scuba gear, dining, sandy beaches). The house is nicely appointed. The cave and ocean access is amazing; nothing like it anywhere else we saw all around the northwest side of the island. Isabelle's Off The Beach had amazing food and drinks. Make reservations. So good we went twice. Highly recommend recommend renting from Remco. We hope to stay here again!

This was our second stay at Stuart's place. You can read my other review for more details; but it's still a beautiful, clean, and safe place with lovely snorkeling just out the back gate and especially in front of the yellow house to the north. If you're strong swimmers, you could also do what we did and walk the mile to Frederiksted in aquasox, then snorkel the pier and all the way back to Stuart's place. The last time we stayed here, no one was in the lower level. This time a family with 3 young children were staying downstairs. We never heard them while inside the house, and it was not an issue the one morning when we were all out back swimming, snorkeling, and enjoying the beach. We never encountered any of the other people staying in the other houses and condos along the beach either stay. The bedrooms are on the ocean side, so you can't hear the road or roosters (big issue when we stayed in Christiansted), only waves crashing on the shore to lull you to sleep.

Amazing home with a gorgeous beach. Close to many of the best things to do in Mayaguez and Puerto Rico as a whole. Will most likely book when I go back this summer.

The stay was great. The apartment met expectations and the host's virtual service was good. There were only problems checking in due to a misunderstanding by the cleaning staff, but they were able to resolve it in less than 2 hours. Otherwise, everything was great.

Laura is a 10 star host! She greeted us with hugs and treated us like family. She and Barry were quick to respond to any of our questions, and had great suggestions on things to see and do. This is absolutely the most beautiful home with incredible views that we’ve ever stayed at!! It had plenty of room for our group of six adults, both inside and outside. The amenities, the flow of the home and the decor were perfect. If your’e looking for a great place to stay in St. Croix, look no further. This is the place!

Ivan’s place was exactly as described. Truly a gem away from the tourist areas. Place was clean and had everything we needed/wanted. We stayed outside most nights and couldn’t even tell Zeerover’s was directly next door. We used the canoes that were easy to take out with Ivan’s dock. We couldn’t even tell there was no hot water because the temperature was perfect. We will be returning to Ivan’s when we make a trip back.

This was our first trip to Aruba and from planning before our trip until departure from Aruba, we have nothing but wonderful things to say about Anamaria and her home. Even before we arrived, Anamaria was responsive and helpful. Upon arrival, Anamaria accommodated our schedule, check-in was easy and we were welcomed into an immaculate home with every amenity you would need accounted for. Our teenage boys absolutely loved having their own villas and we all loved having our own tropical paradise. The game room was the perfect place for us to come together at the end of the night as a family and connect. It's any easy walk to the water from the house, bring water shoes for the beach. Even our boys loved relaxing in the water on the floats we brought with us and left behind for others to use :) When you look at the pictures, you might think they're too good to be true - they are not. Everything was perfect. Thank you Anamaria for the wonderful memories!

Not everyone who goes to Puerto Rico seeks solitude. We did and Sammy’s place provided just that. It was a remarkable stay. I would be remiss not to mention that we experienced an island-wide power outage. Sammy provided a generator and was very attentive to our needs during that time. We ended up leaving a day early (our choice) as it was unclear how long the outage would last and the downstream issues that might occur at the airport. Sammy’s place provided exactly what he promised, and we had a lovely time.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Our host has a wonderful local Fiare, who greeted us and was very friendly. He was helpful with local restaurant and activity suggestions as well. We opted to have the groceries stocked and it was nice to not have to worry about breakfast the following morning. Fiare was always available to answer any questions or help with any of our needs. The snorkeling at the reef across from our villa was great! I would suggest snorkeling both sides of the reef however, the rocks on the other side are very slippery, so be careful! We also had massages on our patio and we felt very secluded and relaxed!! Overall, great villa and experience in Aruba!

Wow wow wow! My husband and I have had a fantastic week staying at Craig and Cal’s little ‘piece of paradise’… they went above and beyond in every way ( and Cal’s baking… all made with love, was such a treat 😃) From the moment we arrived to when we left, we have nothing but positivity and happy thoughts… as hosts, Craig and Cal deserve all the accolades.. the view and location is outstanding! Craig welcomed us and walked us through Cliffside-Sweet Lime Cottage when we arrived ( and outstanding cleanliness and well presented) and explained all the little touches and useful information-they both stayed in touch with us through out our vacation/holiday and were always immediately responsive! We loved waking early to sit on the deck watching the sunrise with our coffee… my only negative is that we wanted to stay longer 😂 We were already talking about returning to Sweet Lime Cottage from our very first day … a huge thank you to Craig and Cal for being ‘hosts extraordinaire’… 💖

If you find yourself needing a place to stay on your visit to St. Croix, I can’t imagine anywhere better. Having coffee on the deck watching the sunrise. Every morning was incredible. Craig and Cal are so accommodating and helpful. Bonus that they include perks like kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling gear to use while exploring. They really went above and beyond to make this cabin, a great place to stay. I felt very safe and at home here.

Let me add my experience to the others about this property: I was initially worried about finding it, but the hosts’ instructions and map pin made it super easy with Google Maps. The infamous stairs? I'm a 50-year-old overweight guy with bad knees and managed fine—but they're uneven, steep in spots, and definitely not suitable for older folks or anyone with mobility issues. There’s no hot water, but it didn’t bother me and felt great (it's not freezing, it's PR afterall :). The bathroom is clean and modern, and the beds are very comfortable. Just know: it can get very hot, and you're in nature—mosquitoes and bugs included. This isn’t a hotel, but it is an incredible experience: stunning views, awe-inspiring night skies, and peaceful outdoor cooking and relaxing. A great place to slow down and reconnect.

The past reviews are accurate. We could repeat it all! Evenings on the terrace watching sunsets over the hills were delightful! We opened the glass patio doors making the terrace an expansion of the indoor space. We connected our music to their sound system. There is a/c, but we only used it in the bedroom due to cool breezes & ceiling fans inside & outside. A sun cover above half of the private, salt-water pool kept the water temp from getting too high & it helped protect us from prolonged sun exposure. Cyrille & Valerie are wonderful & treated us like family! They welcomed us with a bottle of wine, beer, water & cheese in the refrigerator & also fresh bakery bread! Cyrille is in the renovation business & Valerie has a great eye for style & comfort. We appreciated the updated & extremely clean home. Two parking spaces are right next to the home; a car is highly recommended to explore the island. We will definitely be returning & very much look forward to it!!

We had a wonderful stay at La Casita de Papipa! The house is beautiful, right outside the beach, and the gated property was perfect for my 1.5-year-old son to safely explore and play. Susan was a fantastic host, she provided detailed instructions, great local recommendations, and was always responsive and accommodating. The house was spotless, and everything we needed was provided. Thank you for making our trip so comfortable and enjoyable!

I cannot thank Cheryl enough for making her beautiful home available. Everything was top-notch! We were able to enjoy a peaceful vacation in a location that was the best of St Croix.

This place has a special magic with an energy and atmosphere that gives the best spaces and atmosphere to connect with your soul and be superior if you are looking for it. Perfect for those of us who practice meditation and introspection. We can't wait to come back and continue to enjoy such a special place that we now consider "home away from home". Thank you!

This place is magical. So peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful! It is rustic and have the camping vibe, but with electricity, water, and what you need to cook! Having the kayaks and paddle boards was amazing! I am already planning our next trip back! We were very happy.

A wonderful puerside stay with available kayaks. The swings, beach chairs, and outdoor furniture made this space an absolute bomb. Will recommend to friends and family.

As always, Casa Carite, especially Alberta is my connecting space with myself. It's like the 10 time I visit them and each time I fall in love more of my cottage. I say my house because I already feel it and my 4 legs. Recommended 100%

Very beautiful place. It is my partners favorite spot to wind down. I highly recommend it.

Antonio's place is a little paradise in a fishing village. the rest of the area is not great looking, but there are great fresh fish and lobster shops super close. the apt is super clean and so are the grounds around his place. You are right on the water surrounded by mangroves and docks. Lots of birds calling. One negative for me were the biting insects that left me with welts, but my husband didn't have this issue. Bug spray would have prevented this. Well worth the price because of location.
