Vacation rentals in Nanoose Bay

This cottage exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our family, offering much more space than the photos suggested. It came fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and then some. The atmosphere was incredibly comfortable, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. My kids were thrilled to have the pool just across the street, which made our vacation so much more relaxing with easy access to entertainment. The hot tub provided a wonderful spot for unwinding. Being located in a resort meant we had access to fantastic amenities, including a delicious taco and margarita bar right on site and a beautiful Aveda spa that was surprisingly affordable, all within a minute's walk. It truly felt like a getaway!

A hidden gem! Great location, awesome view of the ocean, house was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Definitely worth a visit again sometime. Meghan was very helpful and great to communicate with.

This is my second time staying at Heidi’s and I have to say, it is still by far my favourite Airbnb. I absolutely love it. I call it my home away from home. Heidi is fantastic and such a wonderful host. Very accommodating and helpful. Even sent me recommendations on her favourite spots in Courtenay. I can’t recommend her place enough. 10/10 all around.

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about our stay here - the location and property is 10/10, the cabin is in pristine shape and anything you might need is provided (ie, towels, kitchen supplies, etc). Reg himself is super responsive, friendly, & provided a helpful list of things to do/see on the island. Reg & Saskia also left us some fresh eggs from their chickens which was a lovely touch! Would recommend in a heartbeat & will definitely be back!

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

Everything with our stay was wonderful. It was so nice to be welcomed to our room with a couple of waters and pops in the fridge and snacks on the counter. That extra little gesture goes a long way as did the coffee station goodies for our mornings! The to-go cups were the bomb!! Will definitely be booking here again! Condo was clean, quiet, and comfy!

Could not ask for more. Peaceful and quiet relaxing neighborhood, short beautiful drive into town. We especially loved the farm animals and surprise fresh eggs on our arrival. We enjoyed the hot tub a couple nights and slept peacefully in the big comfy king bed. Very clean and comfortable, we felt right at home. Our well mannered Samoyed was welcomed in the entry with her own special dishes and treats awaiting her. Erin was lovely to interact with and all in all a 10/10 stay.

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

A lovely tranquil space with a large deck looking out to sea. Beautiful details, wooden finishing, and lots of character in the room. There were thoughtful details such as lots of towels, some tea bags and coffee. It was very peaceful and quiet and a short walk to the beach. Charlie was very responsive and is a warm and welcoming host.
