Vacation rentals in Nananu-i-Ra

Great accommodation, beautiful house and surroundings. There is some construction going on around the house but nothing to hinder the experience. Pool was maintained and checked almost daily, amenities made it easy to wash your clothes, cook food or keep drinks cold. Dryer didn't work and ice maker in fridge didn't work but it wasn't an issue. Hot enough to dry clothes outside and we just bought ice. Enough space for 8 people comfortably and we all had an amazing time. Spectacular views.

Beautiful villa with spectacular views. We did not want to leave. Just expect varying degrees of construction noise from next door. We did not find it disturbing and spent a lot of time on the veranda. Also the road is gravel, steep in a couple places and some large potholes. Not a problem for a two wheel drive car but you must go very slowly. Still a wonderful place to stay.

Jioji is a very responsive host who has great communication. He will go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your stay and give you reccomendations for activities and local attractions. The meals cooked by Alisi are very generous and extremely delicious. The home was very spacious and clean. There is tons of room to spread out and live and a large porch for hanging out outside. You are able to customize how social you want to be - tons of room inside if you need some down time and lots of room on the porch or at Jiojis house if you want to socialize. My kids had a fantastic time with the kids in the village living the Fiji life. The scuba dive was breathtaking. We did the dolphin safari/fishing/snorkeling tour which was so amazing. We also did the waterfall walk and it was one of our favourite waterfalls in Fiji. The guides on every tour are very committed to making sure you have a great time. Highly recommend this stay and the tours available!

The Sekoula Lodge was the perfect island paradise. The beaches and snorkeling were fabulous right from the house, the grounds were tropical and immaculately maintained, and the large balcony overlooking the ocean was incredible. The whole place felt postcard perfect. The house itself had everything we wanted for a comfortable vacation. The layout was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked with supplies. The host, Jenny, was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. She made several great recommendations including massages from Mere (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) and going to see the spinner dolphins with Joji and Alisi. We had a fabulous time and will definitely return to Sekoula Lodge in the future.

Upon arrival was greeted by Saleshni the care taker, who can also cook delicious authentic Indian and Fijian food for guests, from breakfast until dinner. 🙏 Amazing sunsets and ocean views! Really is picture perfect 🤩 May need a medium to large car to get up and down the driveway

Wow! This place was incredible. If you want a real local Fiji village experience this is the spot! Lovely people, clean nice house surrounded by nature. Highly recommend. 💚

Macdonald Resort on the lovely island of Nananu I Ra is a totally charming drift into the past. Maxine Macdonald arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the island where the resort boat was waiting. It was a short, seamless and scenic ride past gorgeous islands. Our welcome was warm and we immediately became part of the island friends. There are 3 bungalows. Every evening we all gathered for sundowners and a chat. 2 of the guests had been there as children and return every year. wow! It is like summer camp or a beach shack in some ways. Old but clean, cold water shower or a hot kettle of water in a bucket bath. You can cook your own, which we did bringing everything from the mainland. Or dear Fiela the absolute one lady band of the whole operation will cook for you. I actually was crying at having to leave.

We are family of 5. We enjoyed to stay at this location with great peaceful ocean view. The house has everything you need for cooking, swimming at the swimming pool any time you want, access to the beach, you can spend a lot of time outside the house in a private space. Also we had problems with rental car. The battery was not to powerful enough to start it. The house keeper helped us to call the company and ask for a mechanic to bring a new one. Also we were allowed to stay at he house a little longer while waiting for car to be fixed. It was very helpful when you have kids and the weather is hot outside. This is a great location.

Very peaceful place with nothing else around. I was actually all alone as the hosts were out of country and no other guests. The pool was beautiful and I was happy it was there as there’s a very shallow bay with low tides so not great swimming in the sea. It definitely would be a great place for a romantic stay! Definitely recommend having a car to go to town to buy groceries. There’s a adequate kitchen to cook meals and the whole place is set up for a wonderful stay!
