The Boys' Place.

The space is a newly renovated, tastefully decorated, one bedroom basement area, in a 1927 character home. Complete with all modern appliances, as well as some antiques added to enhance its charm. The ceiling is 6 '4" ( 1.93M) so if you play basketball this may not be a good match for you. Very centrally located on a quiet street, 2 blocks from the seawall and marina, walking distance to DT shopping, restaurants, pubs, Art Gallery, Port Theater, etc. 1 block to bus stop, 2 min. drive to ferry.

Pet friendly (some exceptions) Room for 4. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. Close to Duke Point, Nanaimo Airport, Departure Bay, Harbour Air, Hullo ferry and Downtown. All amenities close by. 5 minute walk to grocery store, restaurant, convenient store.

1 Bedroom suite with 2 double beds, a full kitchen, living room with a 40 inch TV and a dinnihg table. A washer and dryer and a full 3 piece washroom is in the suite. EV charger available for additional charge. The location is in south Nanaimo. We are a 15 minute drive from downtown and the Airport, 10 minutes from Duke Point and about 10 minutes from VIU. Nanaimo River Park is a short drive away. Cedar is 10 minutes away. There is transit near by with a walk from the bus stop.

Large deck, Solarium, Hot-tub, Kayaks and stunning views (Brandon Islands, Newcastle Island Provincial Park, Birds, Seals, Otters, Boats, Fisheries Canada docks). Swim, Paddle board, Kayak, Beach comb, Picnic or just relax - beside the salt water and a patch of old forest. Nanaimo is centrally located, permitting day trips to Vancover, Victoria and even Tofino. Luke (myself) reside in the suite.

Clean, cozy and comfortable basement suite with private entrance/self check-in. A 5 minute drive from the Departure Bay ferry terminal. TV w/cable in the lounge, laundry and food prep area including microwave, toaster oven, induction hotplate, rice cooker and mini fridge. Tea/coffee, a few simple breakfast items provided. Traveling with more than 2? A second bedroom in the suite with a double bed will be made available for an extra fee. Approved pets are welcome too!

Old City Quarter Miners Cottage

Private small one bedroom miners cottage in quite downtown neighborhood. Close to many amenities, VIU & hospital. Easy walk to the seawall, shopping and many restaurants. The cottage is set in a lovely garden with seating under the gazeboor under the grape arbor. Both hosts John and Marc are artists and have a small show room on the property that we a happy to open if our guests have a desire to see more of our art. Sorry we are unable to accept same day guests.

The suite was designed to create a peaceful, bright and open setting where you can enjoy our backyard & the the koi pond while being separate for your own privacy.
