Excellent service by the hosts. The place is so beautiful with a spectacular view.

Drove 4hrs from Guatemala City so we were late to check-in. When we called Markus for directions, he was extremely helpful by meeting us at the front , carried one of our luggage, lead us up the challenging trek to the house and then gave us a tour even though it was 11pm. He was always quickly responsive. The location and view is surreal. A great place for rest, peace and getaway from a busy life.

My husband and I stayed one week at Kristen's place in Santa Cruz, Lake Atitlan and absolutely loved our stay. The view is stunning. And the apartment was clean, comfortable, had a full kitchen that had all that we needed for cooking meals, plenty of hot water, and other than when the power went out in the town briefly, the wifi was strong enough for video meetings. We opted for the apartment that is a bit bigger inside with a smaller patio and that worked well for us. We also loved the relatively quiet town of Santa Cruz - enough restaurants for us and was so easy to walk down the road and rent a SUP or kayak. The roads are quite steep, but there are plenty of tuk tuks if you don't want to walk. Thank you Kristen for a fabulous stay - this was an Airbnb experience we will not forget!

We had a really great time staying at Pat's place on the hillside in Santa Cruz. Spent hours in the morning birdwatching and enjoying the view of clouds rolling in around the lake. One thing to note would be the journey into town, which involves a decent walk on the shoreline and taking a tuk tuk up the hill to reach town. Would highly recommend coming in with groceries from La Torre if you'd like to keep costs down in order to cook in the house rather than search for places to eat each night. Overall really loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking for some peace and beauty during their time on the lake.

A perfect mix of beautiful landscape with design elements. Great location, between Pana and Santa Catarina, the best of both worlds. Looking forward to come back someday!

We had a wonderful time in this Airbnb, the view is really breathtaking and the area super peaceful. You are not directly in the city which makes the stay even more relaxed, but you can reach everything in walking distance (5-15mins). The only thing is, there is a constriction side right in front of the Airbnb and they start working quite early, but for us it was fine with the noise. Overall Mary and Cristian were two super nice hosts and we felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much for the wonderful time <3

Wonderful home and location. It is about a 10 minute walk from Santa Cruz dock. Walk path along stone steps is on the right hand side. Santa Cruz is incredibly beautiful and stunning. Joanna’s instructions and recommendations are so detailed and helpful. I’ve never had a host provide this many tips and updates. I would 100% recommend to bring a good flashlight to be able to walk at night. The CECAP restaurant in the village at the top and BBQ Saturdays at the Iguana are great meal options. We also recommend the hike between Sant Cruz and Jaibolito and spending the day at San Juan (textiles, mirador, bee keepers, colorful streets). The garden and views around the home are amazing with many butterflies constantly flying around. The internet and hot water worked very well. One thing to note is that there is a myriad of bugs around the house at night. Mostly you’ll be picking up ants the next morning, but the home has solid screened windows that limit mosquitoes flying in

This place was MAGIC! Beautiful surroundings, cute house with everything what you need. I enjoyed my time there to the fullest and would def come back!
