Excellent place on the Isle of Skye. Aileen's attention was wonderful. The lake view of the place is spectacular and the traditional Scottish breakfast offered by Aileen is delicious and forceful, ideal for exploring the beautiful Isle of Skye. Aileen was always very kind and kind to us, the place is very easy to find following the directions. I would definitely stay there again when I return to the island.

We can’t say enough good about Rhoda’s place that would accurately say how good it was! Rhoda was so friendly, wanted to make sure our stay was perfect and was so willing to help us with suggestions and anything else. After a long day I said to my husband “let’s go home” referring to Rhoda’s place. It definitely felt like home to us! You would never be disappointed by staying with Rhoda! We truly loved her and her family! 💕💜💕

Serene experience. The room is in the loft. Its cozy!

A true home from home with everything you need including things you hadn’t thought about. A house all by itself at the side of the main road to Tarbert. I say main road but so few cars use it that you’d never know it. I had plenty of space, a large comfortable bed in a big room with en suite. Lovely towels and bed linen. Having my own well appointed lounge was wonderful. The kitchen was accessed easily from the lounge and it too had all that you needed - including a steam egg boiler!! Together with usual breakfast requirements and again, some things in the cupboards and fridge that gave you that little bit extra. I cannot recommend highly enough. Furthermore, if you’re looking for golden eagles then this is the place to stay. Flying nearby all the time - another real pleasure to experience. Cristina was a very welcoming and informative host and obviously loves her home and where she lives. Try her place it’s well worth it and you’ll love it.

A most unforgettable stay with Alisdaire and Ross. We can’t thank Alisdaire enough for his wonderful hospitality and sharing his beautiful home. We will never forget our unique two night experience and will treasure the memories. The location of Alisdaire’s home is absolutely stunning and equally the walks are too. Thank you Alisdaire for your company; your time and your kindness and welcoming Amber, our Golden Retriever, too. How lovely that she and Ross got on so well.

Glyn and Lyndas place exceeded our expectations. It was the absolute perfect place to unwind and cozy up. Any window you look out of , the views are breathtaking. They couldn’t have been warmer hosts either with attention to detail and so much kindness. The breakfast they curate for you in the morning is so special. We will be back!!!

Nice room and nice host.The room is cozy and we slept very well there. Also，every morning，Myra prepares delicious Emglish breakfast for us and we had breakfast in their dining room where wr can also enjoy a wonderful view. Recommend to everyone.

Fantastic host, very helpful..

Stuart and Isabel are the most kind and sweetest hosts. It was such a please to visit with them. We really enjoyed our stay. We spent 3 wonderful nights as it was very centrally located in regard to all the things to do on Skye. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We even got to hear the owls at night! The Wi-Fi was also very good if you need to get some work done. There was a lovely breakfast room with a nice breakfast available each morning. I would highly recommend a stay with Isabel and Stuart. Their place is delightful.

Total honesty: as we braved the unlit, one-lane road back to Papillion, I was a little worried. But I should not have feared — the hosts were nice, the B&B space was pristine, and the breakfast every morning (with tea and espresso options in your room on your own schedule) were perfect. James and Rachel have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making people comfortable, and they did a fantastic job. SIDE NOTE: If you do stay here, Dunvegan is not far up the road. The castle and gardens are excellent, and The Old School (restaurant) is superb.

Great experience! Tiffany is extremely communicative, helpful, and thoughtful. The place is super cosy and full of character, and an extra bonus is the friendly dog and cats. Located just outside Portree, it is also in a great location. Definitely recommend!

Peaceful location around the bay from Applecross Inn. We loved our stay and appreciated the underfloor heating in the bathroom after a few nights camping! Tery was very kind and left us a continental breakfast in the room as an alternative to a cooked breakfast.
