We LOVED our stay with Mickael, Rhita, Jean D'amour, Olivier and the rest of the team. They made us feel so at home in this beautiful location directly under the volcanoes. You couldn't ask for a better view, or better hospitality. Our experience was truly one we will remember for a lifetime, walking in nature. caves, visiting the museum and of course, climbing Gahinga (the smallest of the volcanoes). Despite being little, the hike was really challenging but we had an amazing time as we were joined by some members of the team along with the usual escort and our wonderful official guide Torero. Food was home-cooked and delicious, the company was second to none, creating a family atmosphere, and we can't wait to come back and challenge Oliver again to Igisoro. Also, cute dog.

STAY HERE. We ve stayed for 4 days/ 3 nights and had the most wonderful time we could have in Rwanda! This became easily a second home for us and will be a really good reason to come back to Ruand. It’s actually a whole house with a beautiful garden, breakfast is served everyday (so it’s actually a real bed & breakfast), you can choose from a menu what you want for luch/ dinner (go for the Korean BBQ burger!!!!), a fire is made at night at the patio and has the most adorable team. Virginie is the angel of the whole house. She cleaned our room everyday, took us to the market and is the most polite person you could think of. For everything about tours in Ruanda ask AND go with Eliab. Everything you want to know or discuss go forJunior, two cooks Martin and Celestine cook the greatest meals you can get in whole Ruanda (local and international style). Emmi & Molestaire are the house keepers. Even personal training can easily be arranged with the absolutely gorgeous and friendly Jay.C..

A lot has been said about the stunning beauty of this place, the exceptional hosts, the wonderful staff and the exciting activities you can do here with your family. On top of all that, this is sustainable tourism at its best. With every dollar you spend here you help the local community as Kerry-Ann and Patrick strive to evolve hand in hand with the people who surround them. Honestly, what more can you ask for if you want to travel responsibly nowadays? Our stay was inspiring and gave us courage. All the best on your way and see you soon!

We had an excellent stay at the “Banana House.” The loft feels like you are in the trees and you get an up close look at the many bird species that live around Lake Ruhondo. The house is a short walk from the Ruhondo Beach Resort restaurant. It is a great location for any hiking or birding adventures. In addition, communication with the host was very good. We were met by a representative at the boating pier, and we were led directly to the banana house. They were flexible and accommodating. We highly recommend staying at the Banana House for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the twin lakes!

We enjoyed our stay. Seraphine and JP are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and there is access to some common areas. It's also nice to support a women's cooperative. Location is good - close to restaurants and not far to the Volcanoes NP HQ (25 mins).

Great hosts!!! The accommodations are simple, but very pleasant. Olive makes the best omelette in town!!!
