Coastal Cottage with Spectacular Views

JenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Have just had a wonderful week in the Cottage in Melvich. The house was clean, comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was amazing, very much appreciated. Great location on the north coast within easy reach of both John O’Groats and Durness. Melvich beach is stunning and almost literally on the doorstep. Sitting on the bench by the front door looking at the sea while enjoying a cup of tea was just the best start to every day! Very friendly helpful hosts. Would highly recommend.

Log cabin with amazing views

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cute little cabin with loads of character. Very basic and rustic which is great if you like to get off grid for a bit, also peaceful and private. The wildlife was abundant due to the location, a cuckoo was sat right outside our window in the morning which was lovely to see. The wood burner was great and added such a cosy atmosphere especially since the weather was bad at the time. Would definitely stay again.

A sandy beach is framed by lush green hills and rocky outcrops. Gentle waves lap at the shore, where a few individuals can be seen walking along the coastline. Overcast skies create a calm, muted atmosphere, with scattered rocks dotting the landscape.

The Grouse pod was absolutely stunning. Huge comfy bed and superb shower! Very high quality fittings all round. The area is good for walking to nearby beaches and countryside. Loved hearing the cuckoo whilst sat in the sunshine by the pod. Perfect.

Cottage overlooking Torrisdale Bay, by Skerray.

We had a lovely stay at Linda’s cottage. The welcome package was so thoughtful, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The view from the cottage is stunning, and the walk to the beach idyllic. Would wholly recommend for a stay where you are looking to disconnect! Fires at night were cozy, and reading outside during the day. Thanks again for everything!

Great Holiday Home in the Heart of Brora

DaveRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Very comfortable well appointed cottage, nice back garden to sit and relax all local amenities within walking distance. Sid's across the road is an excellent Indian restaurant. Although on the main road we didn't find the noise a problem even though we were sleeping in the front bedroom. Would recommend if visiting the area and if we're in Brora again would certainly look to book in.
