Pleasant duplex in the middle of the village. The kitchen was convenient and the view of the mountains was very pretty.

It’s been definitely one of my best AirBnB experience. This cottage is absolutely delightful! We loved every minute of our stay. And Anna Maria is a super welcoming host. I highly recommend this place as a great base for exploring stunning Austurland

We had an amazing stay, we hiked up behind the home and saw some beautiful waterfalls. The home was warm and inviting, and the hot tub was perfect!

The cottage is cozy, spotless and spacious. Kitchen is fully equipped for some serious cooking. Heating works great and covers the whole unit. The location is far out of the town about 25 minutes drive on a gravel road. Stock up before check-in is almost a must. Also, check the weather because the road condition in and out could determine your travel to and fro. The host is very responsive. I had no communication problem during my stay.

This was one of our favorite accommodations of our trip around the ring road. We had such a wonderful time spending time in the cabin and walking along the snowy property. There is a hot tub and a cute little glass house to spend time as well. The house is also great for the midpoint of the trip, as you can wash some of your clothes.

Wonderful space with everything we needed. Lovely views and a bonus for us of visible northern lights the night we were there.

Staying at Ellen’s home was quite a special experience! Getting to meet the horses was such a highlight, and having a night to paint and relax with our group was much-needed. Absolutely beautiful location, well-stocked, and very friendly/welcoming hosts! Definitely stay here if you’re traveling Ring Road. It’s an experience you won’t forget!

Our family had a wonderful stay here. We walked to the local swimming pool after dinner and had a great time. Would highly recommend!
