Vacation rentals in Muko

Very lovely accommodation, in a great location for enjoying Arashiyama. Unfortunately few restaurants in the area that are open for dinner time but there is a Lawson near by when in a pinch.

Uzu is a very nice and friendly lady, welcomed us to a wonderful stay. The house was clean and comfortable, providing us with a cozy haven to immerse ourselves in Japanese culture. We had an amazing time these few days.

Our stay at Jinns place was wonderful. The house is even better than the photos and easily walkable to many beautiful sites. Jinn is a fantastic host and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. Highly recommend staying here instead of central Kyoto! Best Airbnb we’ve stayed in and we have stayed in a lo.

K's Villa was the best stay I have ever had despite travelling all around the world. The hospitality was exceptional, the stay itself was stunning and so accessible. The amenities were fantastic and the free bikes for use made visiting Kyoto phenomenonal. It's location on the river stood for some spectacular mornings and evenings and the quiet street it's located on was easy to find, just off a main road and near a 7/11 for late night snack trips. 10/10, will be booking again when I return to Kyoto.

WOW!!!!! This Airbnb was probably one of our favorite stays in Japan and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone who is visiting the Kyoto area!! The private hot tub over looking the garden was such a relaxing l and zen experience after a long day of exploring Kyoto. The location was quiet, private, and easy to find. The place was super clean and you feel like you’v e been taken back to the traditional Japanese era. If this airbnb is available by the time you visit Kyoto, take it immediately!! This will be one of the best stays you’ll have hands down!

Our stay in Kyoto was that much more special because of this house. It’s a great stay for those who want the experience of a traditional Japanese house. The garden is beautiful and everything was well maintained. The heated floors were awesome! Communication was very quick and efficient and they even came to show us around the house so we knew where everything was. I truly enjoyed staying here and hope to be back next time around! For those looking for multiple restrooms and bathrooms, this is the place for you. We had a group of 8 and we were all very comfortable. Arigatougozaimashita!

Chris and Chie were wonderful hosts and the property itself lived up to all the expectations. This is a great option for anyone searching for a more traditional Japanese getaway with a modernized twist. The location is wonderful. My group and I were able to walk to many sites and restaurants and use public transportation with ease when needed. I would highly recommend this stay!

Here's a list of things we loved about Yumiko's place: Just a few blocks away from the North Exit of Nishioji Station Very close to a bus stop There's a nearby drugstore and konbini Basic toiletries and essentials were available for us to use Each of us had our own body towels & face towels We were gifted with complimentary snacks, cup noodles, and water bottles Extra blankets were also available for us to use The whole space was very comfortable for three people with 4 large luggages and additional bags Our host and her husband greeted us as soon as we arrived and were very hospitable. We felt very comfortable with them and felt very welcomed. They showed us around the room, taught us how to use all the appliances We hope this home is still available when we comeback to Kyoto next time. 😊

This place was great! We stayed a month here and had no issues. The Wi-Fi worked great, there were plenty of kitchen items to do our cooking, and the washing machine was a welcome addition. The pressure in the shower was one of the best we’ve ever had, with plenty of hot water. They gave us plenty of towels and even provided toilet paper and laundry soap for our stay. It is a bit small, but it was manageable for two people. If you’re not used to tatami mats and floor living, the seating was a bit uncomfortable for the length of our stay, but the beds were cozy. The neighborhood is quiet and cute, with a beautiful forest walking trail nearby, Matsuo-taisha Shrine, and easy access to the train (10-minute walk), buses (3-minute walk), and grocery store (10-12 minute walk)/convenience stores (8-10 minute walk).
