Steven and his wife made are stay at the lodge very welcoming and inviting. When we entered the lodge there was some beautiful bread, milk, eggs, and cereals there for us. There were logs stacked for the use of the fire. The lodge is clean, cozy and relaxing indeed. It is beautiful. Regular support was offered in anything we may of needed; nothing was too much trouble. They are very lovely people. We have even extended our stay by a week and would stay even longer if we could. We would definitely recommend staying at Steven’s lodge you would not be disappointed.

Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Buzzards lodge, Therese was very helpful and always made us a priority when it came to using hot tub. The space has everything needed with a wonderful view…even had some board games to keep us occupied and have a break from reality. Would highly recommend a stay here!

My parents stayed at this Airbnb & they thought it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment they arrived, they felt right at home. The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities they could possibly need. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring they had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic stay with our four kids! The lodge was spotless, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The kids loved exploring the beautiful walks, playing on the tennis court, and having fun in the treehouses. The location is stunning—private, cozy, and warm, with the added charm of friendly sheep nearby. It made our stay feel even more special! Jayne, the landowner, was incredibly helpful and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We can't recommend enough for families looking for a memorable getaway!

Everything described and more. Lovely location and very private, hot tub was great with brilliant views. Julia’s Chinese was top notch and even delivered to the pod. Would recommend👌🏻

This was a nice homely stay. It is very secluded but peaceful. We stayed for two nights for a wedding in Castle Leslie and used local taxi service Carn Taxis. €10 from castle to keepers house and €30 from keepers house to Monaghan town. It is possible to walk to the castle (around 30 mins) but probably not advisable in the dark. Will sent clear instructions although Jackie who lives on the estate met us at the Castle anyway and directed us round. She was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay here. Very good value and centrally located to lots of bigger towns nearby. Will was a wonderful host and was very helpful. We’d love to return here again.

We were attending a wedding in Castle Leslie. The house was really close and walkable. It had a well stocked kitchen with hot drinks etc. It was clean and well presented. The street location in the village was great for exploring the surroundings.
