I just stayed here with a couple of girlfriends for the weekend and had the best time. Such a gorgeous cottage, amazing location, stunning views out the front where we decided to have a picnic. highly recommend 👌

We really enjoyed our three night stay at the cabin. The outdoor hot spa and hot shower in leafy surroundings were my favourite features. These amenities in particular were in impeccable condition as well. The cabin was a warm and welcome retreat after spending our days exploring some nearby national parks. Although we took it pretty easy and spent plenty of time relaxing at the cabin as well. Saw a couple of nice birds during our stay including a bronze cuckoo and plenty of white headed pigeons. Check in was very well set up.

Wonderful little get away! Peaceful, private and perfect for a romantic holiday. The hot tub and fireplace were absolutely wonderful. Can’t wait to come back

The beautiful natural scenery, the countless sounds of different birds, the breathtaking Milky Way stretching across the sky behind the clouds, and the adorable dog Malibu — every moment here was joyful and filled with happiness. This place was truly special, and we are so grateful for the experience.

We went here for our anniversary and it was truly even better than we expected. It rained the first night which didn’t matter because it honestly just made it even more peaceful! The second night we had a beautiful fire pit with the cows and horses surrounding! The tennis court is a must do even if you can’t play like me! So lovely having a little taste of the country, we will definitely be re visiting!! Thank you Catherine you made our stay amazing.

Thanks Benita for an amazing stay. Exactly as described, and we really enjoyed the space and the little details we noticed in the Cabin, like the towel hooks, and the bench running through to the bedroom and the lead light glass capturing the morning sun on the wall. Also, I just love the front doors! The fresh eggs and mandarins were an excellent touch(and we enjoyed the honey ;) ) We also took a wander amongst your variety of birds, goats and cows which was really interesting too….they are a talkative bunch. Thanks again and would definitely stay again in the future.

What a gorgeous little gem of a place to stay! Everything is so well thought out. Stunning and complimentary decor. A beautiful winter escape where you can spend hours just sitting by a fire, gazing out at the trees and clouds.

My family and I stayed at Caroline’s for one night as a quick getaway from Brisbane. My daughter loved seeing all the animals roaming the farm! It’s a great spot for a relaxing stay with a drink by the fire!

Karen and Paul’s place was a cosy home away from home. From the extremely well stocked pantry to the fire place that was already warming up the place on arrival, every little detail had been tended to. Such a sweet place and host. Thank you for having us!

I was looking for a nice, peaceful time and this is what I got. I was left in peace with the only visitor being the friendly dog which I welcomed. Perfect for what I’m was after and will likely be back

Location was great, 10 min walk to the bustle of Byron but far away enough to be extremely peaceful and quiet at night. Very open and spacious, great outdoor area for entertaining as guests. Very easy to find, check in was simple, ample parking, great heating (if staying in winter), all mod cons.

Loved the peaceful setting and listening to the birds and loved our stay. Access was a bit tricky because road was being repaired but this was an outside issue to owner, we had been forewarned by her. Some trouble with gate access but Bronwyn was very responsive and helpful. Venue suited us as very close to family and facilities met all our needs. Heating worked well despite the very cold winter weather and provision of extra blankets.

Wonderful stay. Great location, close to town centre, easy to the lighthouse to catch the sun rise. Had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We went in winter, but the shed was cosy and warm. A lot of blankets, for outside on the deck and in the room were provided. Gail is lovely & friendly.

Great option if you're looking for a self contained unit while exploring the Byron Bay area and don't want to stay right in the hustle of Byron. A short drive to heaps of what the area has to offer.

Mel's place was just fabulous. It was calm, peaceful and serene. The space was comfortable, even on a cold night. The fire pit was blissful as well. Mel and Ash were so lovely as well. We adored their animals and fell in love with the dogs. It was the perfect stay.

I had the most peaceful and restful stay at Bob's beautiful property whilst visiting for a friend's wedding. The spot was immaculate and has the most beautiful view, sun rise over the tree tops was just perfect. Thank you so much Bob for hosting me, I would stay here 100 times over.

Linda is an awesome person!!! She is 10/10!!! Super friendly and relax!!! The communication was super easy and she gave us the most important tips !!! Robin, her husband was awesome person too!!! Both of them were an incredible person!!! The place was and is magnificent!!!! If you are looking for relax and getaway from city I highly recommend this place!!! In to the bush and listening the birds was incredible experience!!! We can’t wait to ge back there!!! We really enjoyed the time over there and all the places around there!!! What a special place the Old Shop is! The fireplace and outdoor bath was such a highlight, I really enjoyed my evening here and I would love to stay again sometime.

My partner and I escaped to Rosilata’s Rest for a birthday weekend out of the city and it was beyond peaceful! You could easily stay at the cabin a couple of days and not have to leave if you came prepared to do so. The outdoor shower and bath were real perks but we especially loved the row boat and pond! Such a unique inclusion. We were unfortunate that some rainy weather meant we didn’t use the fire pit but can imagine sitting under the stars out there in the evening would be a joy. With plenty to do in both ‘The Nudge’ and surrounding suburbs this spot is perfectly situated to enjoy the comforts of the property and the small town lifestyle. We would both highly recommend this spot to all couples looking for a city escape. Thank you to Andrew, our host, who was extremely responsive and provided some great coffee recommendations. The cabin itself was cosy, clean and self-contained! Thanks again! Ruby and John
