Cottage vacation rentals in Montvalent

We had a great time. The accommodation is located in the countryside, it is very calm and full of charm. The accommodation was clean and located in the middle of many interests (caves, castles, villages, ...). Amanda was very responsive and welcoming despite a late arrival from us. The hot tub is very nice after a long day of sightseeing. We would recommend the place without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay with friends! Audrey and Michel are very welcoming and friendly hosts. They took the time to explain and show us around the house upon arrival. The cottage is very beautiful, very clean and functional. It has everything for children, the environment is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. Also, the area is really beautiful. We'll be back:)

I had a lovely Christmas with friends, in this well-located and very clean house. Joël and Pascale are very nice and give good information about the area. We'll be happy to go back.

Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

Great cottage, as described. Anouk is welcoming, the cottage is very comfortable, the views are superb. The hot tub is great. The pool is a plus. Great address.

Jenny and her place were a delight. Ever helpful and attentive when needed we enjoyed our time in the area and with helpful suggestions from Jenny gave us the time and space to unwind and spend time in the Dordogne. The weather wasn't always that good so less comments about the outdoor space than we might have wanted to offer though they did look as they do in the photos. We recommend Jenny and Fleur's place to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. Great stay. The house is very large and clean, the atmosphere is very pleasant with the garden and the view of the countryside. The hostess is really nice, very responsive to answer all our questions! Really nothing negative, everything was perfect!

Natalie and Patrick were great hosts. Nothing was to much trouble. They were on hand if you needed them but not intrusive. The Gite was lovely, clean, comfortable and has been lovingly restored. Everything in the Gite was of the highest quality. The Gite has fabulous views and the surrounding area is beautiful. In fact the Dordogne generally is stunning. Thank you for a lovely stay and no doubt will return.

We had a pleasant stay in Caroline and Bruno's charming house, in the heart of Cahors. What a pleasure to have coffee in the courtyard under the eyes of the neighborhood cats!

Nathalie's place is simply beautiful with exceptional views. The only "noise" you'll hear is birdsong and the drumming of a woodpecker 😉 We even had the chance to see a royal Milan, in short, everything is perfect and Nathalie, our host, is very friendly and caring. i recommend it 100%

An ideal place to spend a vacation in the countryside, nothing is missing: warm, comfortable and very well-equipped cottage for cooking, game room, swimming pool and direct access to beautiful walks in the forest. 10 minutes from beautiful villages of Lot. And a very warm welcome by Glen and Val, thank you again, we would have stayed 10 days ;)

We had a great time at Kate's place. The house is comfortable and well equipped. The proximity to Pleaux, which allows access to a few shops, is welcome. Few/no neighbors nearby, which allows for a quiet stay. We highly recommend it.

Corinne and Laurent welcomed us into their world created so that their guests have activities and essentials at their disposal. The pool is very nice. A real pool for swimming, swimming, and fun. A lovely peaceful place to relax. The house is very cosy and has a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view. The pool is nice and large, and along with and the many other leisure facilities very well looked after. Alan and Fanny were very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. It's a very short walk into the village where the Forge restaurant is well worth a visit.

Staying with Carl and Tara was a highlight of our road trip. Too much to say in a little review like this, but suffice it to say, you won’t regret staying here 1 bit. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

A vacation we won't forget! What a pleasure to stay in this home located in the countryside in a quiet environment with magnificent views. The place is even better than the pictures. It is extremely clean, well arranged and has everything you need. The pool is beautiful, very well maintained and is appreciated after a good day of walks and discoveries in the area. David and his family were very welcoming and discreet throughout the stay. Maloya and Rubis, their dogs are adorable and endearing. A real gem for discovering the Lot!

Magalie's accommodation is beautiful and in a very peaceful environment. We were there for a sporty weekend so we didn't enjoy the accommodation as much as we would like. The house was up to our expectations and is ideal for an extended vacation. Magalie is very responsive in her responses. Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great time at Corinne's house which is very well equipped. The places are beautiful and peaceful. Communication with Corinne was very easy and she gave us ideas for visiting the surroundings. The children particularly enjoyed the very large trampoline! We recommend.
