Vacation rentals with breakfast in Montrichard-Val-de-Cher

We took the road A16 via Rouen, it was so much quieter than travelling nearer Paris. We arrived around 4pm the house looking great in the afternoon sun, it looked freshly painted, the house is in great condition, the beds were very comfortable, all the bathrooms looked brand new, the kitchen was perfect. The window blinds were a good send, allowing in cool breeze whilst giving you security. Plenty of space to park your car and turn it around, being behind electric gates was a real bonus. It’s a 25 minute walk to the bridge so close enough to view the great sites in Blois. I would throughly recommend staying at Claire’s great house. If we return to the area we know where to stay. We arrived after a visit to Chambord Castle located 10 minutes from the accommodation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Geraldine who showed us the accommodation as well as a parking space giving direct access to the property. Very clean accommodation and as described. Everything was explained to us for the accommodation, and breakfast was included in the service. A real welcome by the hostess who also advised us on the surroundings (grocery store and restaurant). Four of us stayed one night (1 couple plus two children) and the accommodation was sufficient for this short stopover. Very quiet night (no traffic nearby) and we enjoyed the terrace in the evening. If you are in the area, do not hesitate, I recommend it for the hospitality and the value for money of the service.

We had a lovely three days with Justine and Jean Yves. Delicious dinner and breakfast served on the terrace. Very flexible and wonderful how they shared their passion about food (Justine) and wine (Jean Yves)with us. Good tips about wineries and tastings and also successfully followed. The sweet loebas Napo(Leon) made it completely complete. One top stay and who knows, we might come back for the house with pool!

Our stay was amazing. Michèle made us feel at home by being so friendly and so helpful with everything. The cottage was very clean, spacious, comfy bed and has everything you need for your stay. Walking distance to restaurants, groceries and tourist sites. Access to Michele’s garden made our stay perfect. Five stars Michèle !

Right in the old city beautiful surroundings, this is a perfect spot to explore. Nice appartment, confortable and typical under the roof, minimalist décoration is restful after days exploring. Morning coffee offered at the nice bar terrace in the sun downstairs to start the day perfectly! Wish I had stayed more than 2 days. Will be back !

One night spent in Tours in Damien and Julia's apartment. The accommodation is very pleasant, well laid out with all the necessities on site. It is well located and in a very quiet small private alley. Recommended ++

Stayed one night with the family at Franck and Sylvie's place. The apartment is in a very good location and allows for a lot to do on foot. The instructions are very clear and Franck was very responsive to our request. I would highly recommend it.

This place was a favorite of our trip to France. It was incredible for our first visit to the loire valley. Such a charming property. We felt right at home and like we were whisked back in time to the French countryside. Cecile was an amazing hostess as we had to arrive late from our airline losing a bag. She was attentive to our problem and stayed up late to greet us. Breakfast was superb! The best prepared egg I have ever had in my life. Homemade jams and bread. Hot chocolate. Oh la la! We only wish we could have stayed longer. This is one we will be dreaming of coming back to someday. Thank you Cecile!

The home was a lovely stay. Christine was a great host and was very friendly. My partner and I both enjoyed staying here and would return if visiting the same town in the future! The complementary breakfast was a huge plus and very nice.

We had a great time at Line and Didier's. They are very friendly hosts and good advice. Our room was spotless and the breakfast was exceptional. In addition, their house is ideally located for visiting the castles of Chambord, Beauregard, Cheverny, Blois and Chaumont. A big thank you to them.

Finally a vacation where you could finally switch off from the stressful everyday life. Florence is a great hostess and you just feel at home with her. The estate is an oasis for the soul and Florence with her very pleasant manner simply an excellent hostess. We had dinner together every evening and always had a great end to the day. Next time, we'll probably take 10 nights instead of 5. From the estate you can wonderfully explore the Loire Valley in the surroundings of Tours, but also discover fascinating areas and places in the immediate vicinity, such as the famous rose village of Chédigny or the troglodyte villages. Anyway, I'll take my fishing gear with me next time. A clear recommendation for people who are finally looking for peace from everyday life is clearly the magnificent estate of Florence! Keep it up and good luck with your pergola ;-)

We had an exceptional stay at this beautifully situated house, complete with private and secure parking. Angie was an outstanding host—attentive, welcoming, and full of great recommendations for local attractions. The garden provided a serene setting to relax and enjoy a book in the evenings. Our room was immaculate, and the spacious bathroom added to our comfort. The location was ideal, with close proximity to the stunning Château de Chenonceau and the charming town of Amboise. We also found it convenient for day trips to Orléans and Tours. Overall, a perfect retreat in the heart of the Loire Valley!
