Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Montalegre

We have spent two nights alli and Super well. The bedrooms double bed and with TV in all. The main bathroom very well and with a bathtub, the one in the room with shower, smaller but does its service. The living room with fireplace and also with TV and dining table. The kitchen with several appliances: washing machine, oven and dishwasher, in addition to microwave and some other mini appliance. The house looks smaller but upon entering is very spacious. José the host is very attentive and communicative if you have any questions. Very quiet area. We have been with family and with our dogs and we will definitely repeat if José accepts us! Thank you very much José and good luck! We'll be back!

The house is very comfortable and Catarina is very helpful and friendly. The village is very quiet, in the middle of the mountains and the neighbors a friendliness. The river beach that Catarina indicates is well worth it.

The house is great, the view is beautiful. very quiet. We were 2 families staying together. The house was big and well equiped. Comunication with the host was very good and easy.

Very cosy space and ideal for a large group

The house is very functional! Bathrooms in each bedroom, a real plus! The large kitchen also has a table large enough for everyone to dine together. On the ground floor and 1st with the shutters closed, the house remained cool despite the high outdoor heat. the only flaw of the house is the absence of an outdoor living space, too bad in the summer! It is 1h-1h30 from the main waterfalls/hikes of Geres. But Carla had recommended one to us 10 minutes from the house. Carla and her daughter were responsive and very nice. They stopped by to inform us of parties/concerts nearby.

Paula’s hospitality is unmatched. She’s, open, kind and willing to help you on whatever you need. The view is amazing from the bedroom, and I found everything I needed and more. Happy to come back every time I’m around. Thank you!

I had the opportunity to stay at Souto's place and I can say it was one of my best experiences as a guest. The host was just amazing, always available and attentive, worried about ensuring that we had a comfortable and problem-free stay. The house itself is very welcoming and has all the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend staying at this home and hope I can do it again in the future.

When we arrived at the property we immediately felt relaxed and at peace - the view is simply incredible ! The outside terrace is big with beautiful views and plenty of seating, a BBQ, heated lamps etc. Inside is spacious - a good kitchen, a lovely record player, lots of sofas. The location is great - you are so close to so many amazing outdoor activities - we really enjoyed exploring the rivers, mountain walks and the Lagoons ! Many thanks !

The stay in the house was excellent , it is very nice and with all the amenities , the cleanliness is 10 stars ! Everything is very clean , the house areas are very nice and organized !! The village where the house is is dreamy , and its people are very helpful and charming ! We loved everything !! I recommend it !! Only at the informative level for future travelers , the best way to get close to the house without oasar through the narrow streets of the village is by RUA DO TRUGANO, follow to the end and you will reach a church and the eco museum !! You park there !!! I will definitely return to the house do pasadiço !!

Marília is simply wonderful and made us feel right at home. The house is a find. It has a lot of character and a vintage and artistic atmosphere. In addition, it is super spacious and bright, comfortable and warm:) and has breathtaking views which make the place even more welcoming. The decor is really impeccable and cared for with attention to every detail. The private pool would have been very helpful in the summer. Without a doubt, it is a place I recommend without so much as a second thought, and I will definitely return whenever I have the opportunity. Thank you very much, Marília.

Amélia and Joa were really great hosts!! We arrived much later than expected and they were very accommodating. We got greeted with freshly picked strawberries and a warm welcoming smile. We will definitely go back!!

Second time I stay. It was beautiful, this time it snowed and we were amazed and the scenery. We will come back more.

It was an amazing surprise to stay in this little treasure. Maria Helena was an amazing host and explained everything right. Only those who are on this site really feel how special it is. From the common areas, to the windows between the bedrooms, living room and kitchen (even tastes to wash the dishes with that view), the much-loved "rooftop"/terrace, never drinking a cafe was so good. For those who need to rest a few days, this is undoubtedly one of the places to stay, 3 days that seemed like a week. No doubt I will return!! Our thanks to D. Beautiful house by the lake, in a very peaceful village. Had a wonderful stay with my girlfriend and we couldn't be happier!

The stay was very pleasant, in a calm, quiet and fresh air environment — perfect for relaxing. The upper part, with a living room and kitchen, is well insulated in thermal and acoustic terms, which ensured a cozy and comfortable environment. It was also an excellent choice to take our dog, who was able to enjoy both the interior and the outdoor space freely. The lower part of the house, where the bedroom and bathroom are located, was quite cold, even with the fireplace lit, which may be a point to consider outside the warmer season. The pool was not yet working at this time of year, and the outdoor space, although spacious and pleasant, is shared with another house — although both are well away, this can be relevant for those who value total privacy. The stairs are somewhat steep, but safe. Overall, a very positive stay, ideal for those looking for peace, nature and a pet-friendly environment.
