The Dunes is a beautiful, well kept thatched cottage situated a stone's throw from a fabulous beach. The instructions provided for checking in, for house amenities & maintainence were accurately & clearly explained. The cottage was well stocked with toiletries & kitchen basics (tea bags, coffee, sugar etc) which was a lovely touch on arrival. The cottage was also equipped with plenty of blankets etc if needed. Deirdre was also very prompt in answering any queries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was very relaxing & peaceful. Thank you Deridre for your hospitality.

My husband and I had a peaceful trip here with our two dogs. We especially enjoyed the beautiful beach at the bottom of the garden. Mark and Ben are great guys and the welcome basket they left was outstanding. Thank you!

Absolutely would recommend. Great location, beautiful surroundings, comfortable home, and helpful hosts. It is a very cozy and enjoyable place to spend a relaxing vacation for a couple or a small family. Plenty of room for everyone. The home has everything that you need for your stay and the host leaves some goodies for you upon welcome.

recently had the pleasure of staying at Blackwater Cottage, hosted by Luke, and it exceeded all expectations. The cottage was impeccably presented—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and even more inviting than the pictures online suggested. One standout feature was the hot tub, which was perfectly warm and ready for use upon our arrival—a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special. The cottage felt like a true home away from home: cozy, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Luke’s attention to detail and hospitality made all the difference. This is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Wexford. I’ll definitely be returning!

We had a lovely stay at Mick's home. The house is in such a peaceful and quiet estate. Mick had left a thoughtfull package with tea/coffee and goodies for our arrival. The village is a few minute walk away, and there is a lovely beach a 10 minute drive away. Mick was very responsive any time we contacted him and he give us ample information about the area/his home. I would definitely recommend Micks home.

This is a great house to explore the local area, Curracloe beach, Edenvale waterfall, Raven's point beach/forest walk. We were 7 adults & 2 children & all had a comfortable stay in the house. The only downside for a large group on a weekend away like ours where we like cooking in the house is the small fridge. Everything else was good, linens & beds were comfortable, showers were fine, quiet country road so no noise when sleeping . If you would like walk to the town high visible vest would be recommended.

We had the best family vacation at Eoin’s place. The house is huge! We had more than enough space and the view (sunset included) was amazing! Everything we needed was available and Eoin was a fantastic host. We especially loved the gym!
