This little cottage (stuga) is next to our main house close to the center of Södertälje. It is built 1847 but with modern facilities. There is only one room, it has a sofa bed and a simple extra bed. There is central heating + a heater. The kitchen includes a microwave, a small stove and fridge/freezer. You have your independence, but we are at hand if you should need anything. In the summer you can sit out in the garden and enjoy the sun.

Sheets, towels and cleaning are not included in the price, the guest bring their own and clean the cottage before leaving, unless other agreement is made with the host. The cottage is heated. At arrival a fire have been lit, but for a continous cozy burning fire the guest bring their own firewood. Bags can be found at the local petrol station. Washing machine in separate building.

The accommodation is suitable for families, couples and for the solo traveler. Prons: Location, location, location. Quiet surroundings. Pleasant and responsive hostess. Fast communication. This was definitely one of the greatest Airbnbs I’ve ever visited (and Ive been to quite a few places around the world). Joe is one of a kind host, we felt at home directly. He answers quickly, gives you privacy, all the information you need to have a nice stay and explore the area around. He is very thoughtful about his guests experience and generous with what is included in the price. One can tell that the details are thought through! Also, the nature around is amazing, there is so much you can explore. At the same time, you don’t have to do so much to enjoy the beautiful place. We are grateful for this experience 🙏

A sunny weekend in June, we booked two nights in Sandra's cozy 18th century house. Sandra made us feel welcome and at home from the first moment – from the tour to the homemade bread she left for us. The house was very homey and clean and contained everything you could wish for. Although the house is close to Sandra's house, you experience the stay as very private. In the back, there is the opportunity to sit and eat dinner with the roosters walking around and a cat rubbing against your legs. We borrowed the bikes for a day trip and also took the opportunity to experience Gnesta and the surrounding area by car. All in all, we can really recommend this accommodation and nice Sandra as a host!
