Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Modum Municipality

Christian was a great host, he was acommodating and was easily reached. The place is amazing, was as advertised and easy to find. It's located a bit far from the city (15mins away via tolls), but exactly what we want, peaceful from the hustle and bustle of Oslo. The place feels homey, the christmas vibes add to the whole holiday vibes. One small nitpicky detail is that, as mentioned by Christian, this is usually where they stay at, so as mentioned there is a bit of a clutter here and there. Noticed some unclean dishes and airfryer, but otherwise the place is great. Felt like home. Overall it's a 4.7/5 for me and my family, we had an amazing time in Oslo and a contributing factor was Christian's place! ♥️

Dette stedet er veldig koselig etter en lang dags reise. Rent og pent og hadde alt vi trengte for et behagelig opphold! Vi kommer definitivt tilbake ved en senere anledning!

Lovely location near a train station that offers a quick trip into the city. Wonderful apartment with many bedrooms, ideal for a larger group!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean, warm, and full of natural light. It was perfect for our family and especially suitable for kids. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts were kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Landlig hus med stort og koselig uteareal. Korte avstander til kollektivtrafikk, stor og fin badestrand, fotballbaner og butikker/Holmen kjøpesenter. Vi storkoste oss i huset til Therese, og kommer veldig gjerne igjen. Therese var svært hyggelig og imøtekommende og svarte raskt på henvendelser.

Je n'ai jamais eu un accueil aussi chaleureux. Ed & Tonje sont des hôtes incroyables. Toujours à l'écoute et réactifs. La maison est placée idéalement pour les transports en commun Magnifique maison avec beaucoup de charme. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Je recommande vivement.

We spent 2 nights as a family of 4, and had a great time. access to the ski slope, was super convenient, cross country tracks directly in front of the house, and the hill for the sleigh as well. beautiful sunrise every morning, shame we couldn't stay longer

Fredrik var en veldig god og imøtekommende vert. Vi følte oss veldig velkomne og hadde et flott opphold. Veldig sentralt og allikevel rolig. Litt trøbbel med vasking pga. manko på vaskepersonell i påsken, dette hadde vi god dialog om før leieforholdet og fikk avslag i prisen. Man kan dermed stole på at Fredrik ordner opp om noe uforutsett skulle oppstå. Profesjonelt håndtert, vi bor gjerne her igjen og kan på det varmeste anbefale Fredrik som vert.

Ble møtt av Vibekes hyggelige mann som viste oss leiligheten. Han kom når det passer oss. Leiligheten var ren og pen, som på bildene. Lå veldig sentralt til, både til restauranter, handling, shopping, Vigelandsparken o.l. Vi hadde en super helg, familie på fire.

Amazing apartment and amazing hosts. I had a very good stay. The apartment itself is beautiful, cosy and near everything anyone might need. Ingvill and her brother were responsive, easy to communicate with, accommodating, kind, friendly. I felt exactly like my home away from home. I would be pleased to come back again soon.

Mathilde is a marvelous host, competent, knowledgeable, responsive, warm, friendly and fun. The apartment is cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The neighborhood is an excellent location with lots to do right there plus easy access to the whole city via public transportation. This is one of our very favorite AirBnB’s!!

The apartment was very nice and close to the metrostation. The area was calm and the apartment was clean and perfect for a family to stay in!

This is a great house to stay in if you're looking for a quiet getaway. The house is very well equipped with everything you need and can easily fit 3 couples comfortably. The porch has a stunning view of the lake. Torstein was a great host and very responsive to our questions.

Camilla & Snorre sind unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – die Kommunikation lief reibungslos. Das Haus war nicht nur sauber, sondern auch stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral/mit toller Anbindung. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Blick auf Oslo. Wir haben ums rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

Frode’s place had so much charm. We loved all the outdoor spaces, and the kitchen was a great place to cook. The whole family enjoyed the sauna because we had a lot of rain. Thanks Frode:-)

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön und super sauber. Die Innenstadt ist einfach zu erreichen und Supermarkt und andere Geschäfte um die Ecke. Bente war immer zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Check-in und out war einfach und flexibel. Wir würden mit unserer Familie immer wieder kommen.

The house itself is stunning, thoughtfully designed with every detail blending style and comfort seamlessly. What made the experience even more special was the warmth and attentiveness of the owner, who was always quick to respond and made us feel so welcomed and safe throughout our stay. This is truly the perfect place for a family holiday or anyone seeking a slice of paradise. We feel incredibly blessed to have created lasting memories here and cannot recommend this place enough.

Это были прекрасные 4 дня в уютном и комфортабельном доме со всеми удобствами. Более доброжелательного и отзывчивого хозяина мы еще не встречали. Дом расположен в пригороде Осло, рядом с автобусной остановкой и магазином. Все фото и описание дома полностью соответствует реальности. Мы чувствовали себя как дома и благодарны за щедрое гостеприимство Anniken. Она очень оперативно отвечала на все наши вопросы. Мы долго будем вспоминать этот отпуск и надеемся вернуться еще раз, но уже летом ;)
