The house is very easy reachable via public transportation; the post-van is 5 minutes to go, with direct connection to St. Gallen (with an overall travel time of 30 minutes). The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

Apartment on the first floor and second floor

The accommodation is on the Appenzellerstrasse, which leads from Gais to Appenzell. The house is bright, offers plenty of space for 3-4 people on the ground floor and 1st floor. It is a patrician house, ceilings are higher (2.20 m) than typical. Appenzeller houses. The kitchen is fully equipped. 2 high chairs for children/baby bed available. Dogs welcome. Hiking trails start as soon as you cross the street. Important: A listing is also placed separately on Airbnb to rent the entire house (8 people).

tiny flat

Very tiny flat with low ceiling (about 2 meters high). The floor-ground is sloping and its in the first floor (only stairs). I'm happy to welcome anybody and i hope you feel at home and comfortable. The bed is 1,4m wide and if there are 3 persons coming i can put a matrase on the floor :) There is no parking! Sometimes it can be loud in the street from other pubs or people going out. But from 12pm should be no noise anymore. Especially noisy on wednesday, friday and saturday.

It is modern and comfortably furnished: elegant bathroom in black and brass, white lime plaster walls, heated design concrete floor, many windows, direct access to the garden. Stay in an original Appenzell farmhouse renovated in spring 22 with 4 bedrooms, 1 living room + 2 bathrooms. The house is secluded in the middle of a sheep pasture. Nevertheless you are in 10min in the city of St.Gallen. It has parking for about 3 cars; 50m away there is a bus stop. It has a nice outdoor area with deck chairs and hammock for relaxation and with 2 barbecue areas. The large garden with slide, swing, sandbox etc. is ideal for children.

Bungalow with a stunning view LOMA BUENA VISTA

Holiday cottage located on the sunny slope with beautiful views. After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, you can walk relatively steeply up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest for about 100 m.

Vogelnest

Just right for a cozy weekend for two or alone in the middle of nature!! An extensive organic shop in the nearby farmhouse is also always open for late arrivals. If you are looking for luxury in the traditional sense, the Bird's Nest is not the right place. The luxury of the bird's nest is the wonderful simplicity.
