Mirissa beach accommodations

We made a last-minute booking, but everything was very well organized. Podi communicated excellently and provided a clear and detailed description of the place upon our arrival. We especially loved the kitchen and its well-equipped setup, and we truly enjoyed the space as if it were our own home. Highly recommended for long stays and groups!

Great welcome, extremely clean spaces... the only downside is the proximity to the railway... which was well indicated in the listing... but very noisy when a train passes... I imagine you get used to it but in 3 days you don't have time... Also 10 minutes from the market, the beach... good location...

Good location to be able to walk/ride everywhere but also far enough from the noises. Kitchen was very useful and garden is peaceful. Supun was very responsive and helpful. All good.

This place is so beautiful! In the jungle, peaceful, lovely dogs around, sounds of nature, no traffic! Rooms are big and spacious! It’s two floors with each a bathroom, bedroom and kitchen. We only used one floor, downstairs! Orcheedas Mum lives next door, she speaks no English which is absolutely fine - we always found our way doing laundry together or whatever we needed! I really recommend this place ☺️

Very good stay in Sajuna's house. Warm welcome, nice house, private garden... Good place to rest in between the visits to galle or beaches. Thanks a lot, Sajuna, as well to your wife and her mother.

This home, host and his family was our best thing in Weligama! Close to very calm and pretty beach, close to markets, centre, but more calm, no noises in the night, no smokes near..We stayed there for almost month and we were sad to leave. The host is super friendly, super helpful with every little thing. The best experience, better than we expected. We already miss this place and we know that we will come back next year! Would reccomend 100% to everyone!! ❤️ With all the love!

This was a beautiful, lush accommodation in a coconut plantation perfect for nature lovers as a peaceful retreat. The property is very spacious and waking up to a view of palm trees is a highlight. The host and the staff on site were very responsive and helpful with enquiries. I spent a lot of time in central Ahangama and Kabalana so it was great that you could call Ubers to the property. It was nice to add this unique experience to my travels in Southern Sri Lanka.

What an amazing stay! We felt right at home with such friendly hosts, offering us everything we needed to feel comfortable. The room, kitchen and office has everything we needed to work for a week, enjoying a peaceful stay watching the monkeys and animals go past on the balcony. Will absolutely come to stay again!

Host was really sweet, the room was very clean and had a kitchenette with all essentials, there was a brilliant view from the room. She welcomed us with a local tropical juice, and also helped us source a scooter swiftly. I got a great night’s sleep after a long time here, it was really cozy and comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

Great location and property. This was our first Airbnb so we didn't really know what to expect but it was exactly as described. The pool and views were amazing with the sound of the ocean was incredible. The beach is a about a 40min walk away with shops closer at about 20mins. There are restaurants that deliver and know the property well so delivery is very quick. Highly recommended!

We’ve just come back from an amazing trip to Sri Lanka, and we stayed for 6 nights at Gaya’s wonderful home. We loved it; the location feels remote, but it’s only a 10min walk to the beach/restaurants etc. Every morning I’d wake up and have a coffee on the veranda, overlooking lush greenery, peacocks, cattle - not something you get in everyday life. The staff were very helpful, and the accommodation was comfortable, clean, and is a wonderful option if you’re looking for a self-catering home stay. A big thank you to Gaya for letting us stay, we hope to be back soon!

We highly recommend this apartment, it is even better than the photos! It is super clean and feels very spacious with comfortable sofas. It feels like such a large space with an upstairs bedroom and the large downstairs bedroom has an en suite. The pool is amazing, 100 % private and so lovely to be able to cool down and chill out. It is walking distance to local shops, markets and the fort. It is worth enquiring if they would consider a 2 night stay. Liaising with Dineru and meeting his Dad was a pleasure. They were so flexible on our departure and we really cannot thank them enough. Do not hesitate to book here, fantastic value.

I stayed with 2 friends for a 6 day surf vacation. The house worked great for us. Very well located near the Sion surf point, near many restaurants and coffee shops, very specious and well equipped. DD was pleased and proactive and helped us feel at home. We will return there as soon as we can. Highly recommended.

The place matches the description. The host (Don) responds instantly if there is any difficulty in the house and quickly resolves any problem. The hoyazin itself is the decoration of the villa! You can also rent a scooter from the host, go to his cafe and even order food there with delivery. Would recommend!

Our stay at Lake View Villa mirissa absolutely blew us away and was the best start for our holidays. We loved having breakfast on the terrace every morning watching the chipmunks and listen to peacoks from the forest right behind.The living and dining area are all comfortable, clean and attractive spaces. As well as the pool ! It was great to dive in after an adventoures day. Chamila cleaned it very often 👍 It's modern, clean and well equipped with everything you need. The beds are super comfortable, the WiFi was perfectly fine, aircondition at its best ;) the service and anytime-help chamila and shanika added to our stay with their friendliness and exceptional service was great and made it a home to us. Location is nice because its close to mirissa, polhena and madhiha beaches. Its easy to do some day trip to Galle or Tangalle, and at the same time experience local streets with local authentic food and people (fathers kitchen or Gunawardhana Bakers) We had a wonderful time! Fantastic Villa, the pictures don’t do justice to the place - it’s better than what can be seen here. The area outside is peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery and the property grounds are perfectly landscaped with a beautiful swimming pool and outdoor seating area. The living room and kitchen are fantastic and all essentials are well stocked up. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also up to 5 star quality with clean soft linen. No problems on water and no problems on electricity. The staff doesn’t fully understand English but enough to get through and very helpful. Only draw back is that it is 15-20 mins away from Unawatanu / Galle so you need your own transportation.
