Slip Cottage is a charming, spacious, comfortable, well equipped cottage located in a peaceful lane in Whistable. We especially loved the comfortable bed and quality linen. The private carpark at the front door is most certainly a plus! Steve is a fantastic host, easy to communicate with and was most kind when my husband unexpectedly had to go to hospital. A big thank you Steve ... your kindness is truly appreciated.

The place was pristine, beautiful home. right on the beachfront, offstreet parking oppersite the house. Sums it up, couldn't ask for more. The host was also proactive with clear instructions ahead of time and responsive when messaged. would recommend to anyone visiting Southend-on-Sea.

Albion House was the perfect venue for our 3 generation gathering. 6 adults, 1 toddler & 2 dogs were perfectly at home with plenty of space. The location is perfect, right on the beach with easy parking & a selection of good eateries just around the corner. We would highly recommend Loaf for breakfast, Docker Bar for a fine range of local craft beer & Fat Raj for a top quality & fresh curry. The only problem was our stay was too short. Nick is very quick to respond & was extremely helpful with regard to flexible arrival & departure. Th

We have just been back to Richard's house this weekend for the 4th time with a group of friends - and had a wonderful time as always. The house is absolutely perfect for a group holiday - clean, spacious lounge and kitchen/diner, amazing location with wonderful views over the harbour and the pool room downstairs added a fun dimension. Plenty of bathrooms and toilets really helps too! We didn't use the cars at all - we had plenty to do within walking distance including the beach, the harbour and tennis at spencer square which has a little cafe selling delicious cakes. Pugin's house and church are just up the road. There was an open day while we were there - well worth a visit. Would highly recommend Marc-Pierres's restaurant a 2 minute walk away - he serves fish dishes cooked to perfection. Looking forward to returning next year!

Honestly, words can’t describe how grateful I am for Sheila and to be able to stay here to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely amazing communication!! So kind and friendly. The house was amazing and THE VIEW was incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. I would more than come back here again. But if you’re looking for a sign to book this place, this is it!! This is a lovely home in Broadstairs. It was the perfect fit for our family and dog. Our young girls loved playing in the back deck area. We were able to try several restaurants. Access to the beach was so close and easy - much needed with little kids!

We absolutely loved staying at the Beach Hut. The location was perfect, we walked into Margate and Birchington. Train and buses so close if needed . Westgate High street was so close and the Swan which was 2 minutes away was great for food and drinks. It was really peaceful and extremely clean, such lovely touches with coffee/tea, milk, water and cereal. We loved the chilled atmosphere sitting in the front of the hut for drinks or coffee , so relaxing. We would definitely stay again and also recommend for a perfect relaxing break and although we only got to wave at Lorraine , David was so friendly and checked to see if all was ok for us . Great communication and we absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for our stay and how attentive and responsive you have been 👍

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

We felt right at home in Wendy's holiday park caravan, which reminded us a lot of our luxury camper that we travel with back home in the states. Wendy was an incredibly responsive and accommodating host from start to finish, and the quiet location away from the busyness of central Dover couldn't be beat. No issues parking, and the overflow parking is a literal stone throw's away if needed. The shop next to the overflow parking was perfect to stock up supplies for a quick breakfast the next morning before we headed out. Supposedly there are laundry resources on site, but we arrived too late to take advantage of that - pick up tokens and soap at the shop if needed. The exterior doors are also a little tricky if you aren't familiar with multi-lock styles - make sure you pull up on the handle when locking exterior doors. Also be sure to make reservations for any of the nice restaurants nearby!

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

It was the perfect hut for a full day at the beach with the kids, all the amenities meant that we didn’t have to carry loads or stuff to the beach! Thank you and we will definitely be rebooking! ☺️

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

Exactly what it says on the tin, as they say. Friendly people, a nice little grass dog walking area next to a nature reserve. Pub opposite served lovely food as does the clubhouse I’m sure, although we didn’t get to eat there it served a lovely Guinness and provided great entertainment from bingo to cabaret. All in all very happy and hope to go book even just for a mini weekend break. Sandra and her hubby, nice people and very helpful, thank you both. Mark & Michelle

This place was a real find, with a peaceful conservatory and a private garden leading directly on to the beach, which feels really very unusual. The place had everything you need and was very clean and well maintained. The beds were really comfortable. Chris was super helpful and proactive with great guidance on the local area.

This is a perfect location for a holiday by the seaside. The flat was lovely, very clean and perfect for a family of 4 with two young children. It had everything we could have needed, including beach stuff and games for the children. Everything was within walking distance, the beaches were lovely and really nice restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice period flat overlooking the sea and the beach. Convenient for golf and a nice pub. Includes a large garden.

we had a lovely stay at Joshua's apartment. lovely decor and falling asleep with the waves - just perfect! We definitely picked the right time of year. Mid May. The height of summer maybe very busy as next door to amusement arcade. Overall highly recommend and don't forget something to sit on to enjoy the view as no table or chairs provided on the decked area.

We needed a day by the sea and hiring a beach hut in February was the perfect way to do it. We brought a picnic, books and board games and set about a relaxing day sitting on the balcony under blankets, gazing at the sea - just what we had hoped for. The deserted beach in front of the hut was like having a private garden. Our children found buckets and spades for building sandcastles and happily played while we watched on - idyllic.

This was our second stay at Joanna’s place - and we are so glad to have returned. A really lovely flat, easy walking distance to shops, cafes, pubs, ice cream shops, play parks at Broadstairs. And directly opposite the beach at Stone Bay. Really great with our 2 year old - travel cot, baby bath & high chair provided. And lots of kid-friendly plates, cups, cutlery too. Plus some bonus beach toys we could use! Altogether a lovely stay - and Joanna was such a helpful and responsive host while we were there. Thank you!

The chalet is as described- very pleasant with a beautiful view. The place is very clean and cosy. We were a little unfortunate for the chalet next door being built - meaning noisy building works and radio throughout the bank holiday weekend. We’d escaped London for peace and quiet - which we found when the building works stopped. I expect that this will carry on throughout the summer, possibly longer. Otherwise very pleasant indeed.

We had a great stay. The house is a great bolthole for exploring the beach, and surrounding areas. It is a 15 minute drive to Whitstable, short drive (a few minutes) or 20/25 minute walk to the main activities in Herne Bay, and only a few minutes walk to a beach and playground. It was blissful to sit on the sofas and watch the sunrise and stare out at sea. Excellent facilities for washing and drying clothes - which was a must have for us with children and beach/swimming taking place. A great place for us to have a short stay by the beach.
