Our trip to beautiful Fiji was absolutely magical! The stunning location and eclectic decor were just the beginning. Our gracious hosts went above and beyond, making our stay unforgettable. We are especially grateful for the late checkout, which allowed us to soak in every moment. We created countless lifelong memories here, and this takes the cake of our very favorite Airbnb! Wow, what an incredible experience you'll have with this stay! The layout is absolutely wonderful, with privacy and gorgeous views. The photos don't do it justice, it's paradise for your senses and soul. Our primary goal was superb snorkeling, and it was the best, right out the front door, down the driveway to the beach and corals out front. The plunge pool was a huge bonus given the humidity of the weather. Jen and Bruce are immaculate hosts, and their sail experience was wonderful! We will be back, no doubt.

Caring staff, beautiful location, would stay again and again

Amazing place but very isolated. You absolutely need a car if you don’t want to depend on taxis which are not cheap at all. The beach in front is beautiful but it’s impossible to swim, it’s very rocky even with appropriate shows I hurt myself. The host Jasmine is very kind and helpful but the activities that she offered us to reserve on the house site are very expansive and you have to pay in USD dollars so it’s twice the price you pay when you reserve by yourself. For exemple, the waterfall hike costs 199 USD (445 Fij$) and we paid for 4 people with the taxi 180 Fji$ so less than half, it was the same for Farm pearl tour.

We had a wonderful stay! The highlight was definitely the view – absolutely breathtaking and even better than the photos. Gary was great, very proactive and made sure we had everything we needed. They even provided water, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a relaxing and smooth experience. We'll definitely be back!

We were happily suprised that this place is actually part of the resort and we were treated like such by everybody. The rooms were beautiful and the lagoon was amazing to swim in. Even better than the front of the resort in my opinion as it was calm, no waves and right outside our steps! We loved this place and felt so spoilt to be there. We had a wonderful stay at the Shell House, it truly exceeded our expectations! The house offers the best of Savusavu, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Nadine and Thomas are incredibly welcoming hosts, treating us to homemade chocolate cake and freshly baked bread. The environment is peaceful and relaxing, yet still close to the main street. A perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and charm of Savusavu.

We had such a fabulous stay at Jodie’s. Best view in all of Savusavu! Jodie was very easy to contact and super responsive. We really appreciated all the local tips including reliable taxis and at home massage therapist. The house is at the top of a long, steep and bumpy road but thankfully most local taxi drivers were game to take it on! House is great for 4 couples or a group of friends. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Already dreaming of our next visit.
