Great stay in a great place. The air conditioning was a real plus with the heat when we came. The location to access the old town is ideal. We will definitely come back but rather in September because really a lot of people in August. Sarlat itself is a beautiful city with lots of stuff to do surrounding.

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. The location was amazing and close access to all of Bordeaux. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect view and communication with the host was great. We were offered wonderful recommendations. Overall, it was a 5 star experience. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

The cottage is very nice, perfectly located for sightseeing as well as for walks and in a quiet and pretty environment. The terrace is a real delight! The bed is perfect, the kitchen is very well equipped. The house was perfectly clean when we arrived. The welcome from our hosts was perfect. We would absolutely recommend this listing.

This is exactly what we were looking for: quiet, very pleasant host, sweetness of life, silence, a nature bath, an excellent massage, the sauna and the outdoor jacuzzi just perfect. The place is very well thought out, beautiful renovations of buildings, gardens and zen space very well maintained. For a family stay in the countryside, the cottage is ideal! The living room is warm, comfortable, full of charm. The spacious kitchen is very well equipped. Everything is done to have a lovely stay. The bathrooms are great. We particularly enjoyed the nature side, our small children and our little dog really enjoyed being able to play outside. The renovation of the building is remarkable. Thanks to Celia and Peter for hosting us.

We stayed for a month and enjoyed our stay very much! The place has a big garden full of flowers and is very quiet, even with the road construction going on. You don't hear the cars/trucks on the main road. Very comfortable beds and warm blankets (October: We had rainy cold days) but we were lucky to have more sunny, summer weather than cold rainy days. The house can get chilly though but should be perfect for hot summer months. Hosts were very responsive when we sent messages. There were enough supplies of towels and beddings. There's a washing machine and enough clothes line to dry the clothes. Even if they hardly speak English and our French is limited, we managed to communicate well. Their son who lives in Paris came with them a couple of times to explain more information in English. Very friendly hosts! We'd stay there again if we are back in the area.

Very nice stay in this accommodation in the countryside with lots of little touches from the owners. It's extremely well maintained. The presence of animals (chickens, turkeys and peacock) is very friendly. We highly recommend it.

We had a great weekend at Oscar's house. Kat was able to recommend places and make our stay a unique experience. We recommend this place if you are looking to disconnect and discover fantastic landscapes.

Had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed coming from London. The views are absolutely amazing and such nice walks to explore around the area. The home had everything we needed, great kitchen to cook our own food, lovely shower and very comfy beds. We spent most of our time on the porch and would happily relax there all day. Plunge pool is also a nice addition for the hot days. We also had to work online during the stay and found it very easy to get work done there, especially with how peaceful it is and also very strong wifi. With a car there also so much restaurants and little towns to visit, the cuisine is superb in the area Andy and Judith are also fantastic hosts, they were super responsive, they also gave us a website before arrival with all the things to do and Andy gifted us a lovely bottle of wine and champagne I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a break from the city!

The lake setting is a great area. The accommodation is located close to Lake Montagnès where there are various activities. The cottage is very functional, well-equipped. On site, there is a swimming pool, a pétanque court, swing... perfect for our daughter. The place is peaceful. The accommodation is cool which is very nice in times of high heat. Thanks to Shirley and Vincent for hosting us, we had a great time.

Very quiet places bcp of activity to do around. Thank you to Sylvain for his hospitality and availability. Clean accommodations and arranged properties tastefully decorated. Damages that the infrastructure of the residence is not more maintained and accessible. We'll be back though 😉

We needed a peaceful place for a two-day rest. This cottage is incredibly relaxing and regenerating with unique views of the mountains, exceptional amenities, a beautiful forest for beautiful walks etc. The rooms are beautiful and the living room is splendid and very comfortable. The breakfast on the terrace in front of the mountains was unforgettable for us. Access from the back to go for a walk is very convenient too! I also want to clarify that the person who welcomed us "Chainèze " is a lovely person, smiling and very available. We sincerely thank her because she helped make this stay enjoyable and without any worries. We will definitely come back with the family when there is availability because the location and the qualities of the cottage are exceptional. Thank you so Guillaume for the moments we spent in your cottage and we hope to see you soon!

Thanks for the wonderful stay! The house is situated in a fantastic location directly on a beautiful pebble beach and is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a successful vacation. It offers plenty of space for four people. We were also impressed by the electric grill, which delivers excellent grilling results. Every morning we had breakfast on the beach and watched the sunrise – a real highlight. The hosts were extremely helpful and gave us great recommendations. We really didn't miss anything. We enjoyed our vacation to the fullest and would be happy to come back!

We had a great stay at this place, a beautiful little place, quiet and relaxing. We've been there to work and the place is really good for that. There are many activities around (restaurant, boules pitch, hiking trail, shops...). The place was perfect and everything was well explained to us. The host left us some soaps made in the area available which is much appreciated. I would highly recommend this listing!

we highly recommend the gite d 'evane . super nice to wake up with the hot air balloons in landscape. The cottage is very well located for visiting the Dordogne Valley with many activities for the whole family. the pool is a plus. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
