Vacation rentals in Mi Chai

We spent a lovely month at the One Bedroom Pool Villa. We used this as a base for exploring the region with our hire car. The villa was comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette in the property itself with microwave, fridge, kettle and electric grill. Plus another kitchen for us only, a few steps away, with gas hobs. Essential pots, pans and utensils supplied. The washing machine on site was very useful and worked well. The TV is modern, the superking bed is comfy, usual Thai hardness but we like that. Shower is acceptable but not super powerful. Pool is a welcome addition when the weather is hot, and we spent quite a few half days relaxing by it. Wifi works very well. Quiet and peaceful location. Phen is a 10 minute drive away with lots of restaurant/shacks, many shops, a supermarket a few 711s, markets, a hospital, pharmacies etc The local market on Tuesday and Saturday was fun. Ketta was such a great host, the estate was beautiful, rooms decorated and felt super cozy, Ketta took me out for some coffee and always gave more than expected. She’s a real star, highly recommend!

We stayed at the apartment for one week. Our host was very nice to pick us up at the train station. We appreciated it a lot. The apartment was very spacious and had a good-sized living room and bedroom. The shower was very strong and the water hot. We had plenty of towels too, unlike other places we stayed at. After half a week our host offered to clean the apartment. He also provided us with toilet paper and more water when we ran out. He did his best to make us comfortable. The kitchen was minimally equipped with the basics. About 5 minutes on foot is a new Amazon coffee that also serves light meals. The apartment location is about 30 minutes on foot from the city center. The immediate aera surrounding the apartment was OK but not great. However, we felt very safe.

great room with amenities. host is responsive and staffs are friendly and help solved any issues. came during the lao new year and everyone, staff and other tenants, celebrated together.
