Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Metropolitan city of Catania

Das Ferienhaus von Francesco ist toll am Hang des Ätna gelegen mit Terrassenblick nach Nord-Osten. Von der Terrasse genießt man einen schönen Blick über die Weinfelder und ins Tal von Linguaglossa. Man kann dort wirklich seine Ruhe genießen und es gibt zwei Restaurants, die in Fußnähe sind. Ein Mietwagen ist dennoch zu empfehlen um die tolle Umgebung (Ausflug zum Ätna - 16km, Strand südlich von Naxos - ca 20km, Taormina (große Empfehlung) - ca 30km, Schlucht von Alcantara - ca 20km und und und) ausgiebig zu erkunden. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus für bis zu 4 Personen mit toller ruhiger Lage und phantastischer Aussicht. Wir kommen gerne wieder

La casa di Francesco si trova in una posizione perfetta per visitare Catania e Siracusa, é spaziosa, pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario. Ottimo anche lo spazio esterno e il parcheggio all’interno della proprietà. Francesco è un host molto simpatico e disponibilissimo. Miglior rapporto qualità/prezzo di tutta la zona!! Perfetto!!

Super Kommunikation mit Paolo. zwar haben wir die Unterkunft nicht so schnell gefunden, aber Paolo holte uns persönlich ab und begleitete uns zu der Unterkunft. Super sauber! Ganz ruhig und tolle Aussicht auf das Meer und den Ätna. Wir besuchten Catania und Syrakus und kehrten abends gerne wieder in unsere ruhige Unterkunft zurück. Die Zeit ging leider zu schnell vorbei.

Het contact met Andrea verliep prettig en soepel. Hij is erg behulpzaam en deelt graag tips over de omgeving en bezienswaardigheden. Bij aankomst in het donker was het even zoeken, maar eenmaal binnen werden we aangenaam verrast door het schitterende uitzicht en de fijne sfeer in het huis. De omgeving is veelzijdig, met volop mogelijkheden om te ontdekken en te genieten. Het huis van Andrea is absoluut een aanrader – het zal je zeker niet tegenvallen.

Gorgeous house, excellent location, and such gracious hosts! Daniele and his parents were both lovely. The space is clean and has everything we needed. The pool is the perfect afternoon relaxing spot. It’s well kept and very clean, which we can only imagine a huge feat considering the volcanic ashes! We also went up Mt Etna with Daniele. He’s a great guide as well! Overall 10/10 recommend.

Die Dachterrasse ist einfach super, dieser Ausblick, einfach genial. Um die Wohnung rum, viele Möglichkeiten was zu essen, egal Frühstück, Mittag oder Abend.

thanks for the lovely time in Sicily. the view of the sea is amazing and the sunset from the bedroom terrace is spectacular. ideally rent a car that can handle the lovely cobble stone road leading to the house 🏠.

We loved our stay at Katia’s and Ricardo’s. They were so welcoming and accommodating, just as many of the other reviews have said. We had thunder storms the first day, and as my son had a broken arm and couldn’t get his cast wet they kindly let us check in early which really helped us. The apartment itself is really clean, equipt with everything you need. The garden space is just beautiful, the views, the fruit trees, the pool and hot tub! We really appreciated that space and was great for the children. You do need a car to get around, but they have a gated drive so you could park safely. They is so much to do in the surrounding area. We spent most of our time in Taormina, it was our favourite place. We also went to mount etna which our kids loved. If you have any questions Katia is very helpful, and very quick to respond. I would highly recommend for families or couples

Die Unterkunft übertrifft die Beschreibung und die Fotos. Man hat einen 360 grad Blick auf die Stadt und alles Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fussläufig entfernt. Man hat sich auf Anhieb wahnsinnig wohl gefühlt da die Wohnung eine unglaublich warmes Ambiente hat. 100% Weiterempfehlung!

Krásně sicilský vybavený prostor. Teráska u každého pokoje. Velká prostorná vybavená kuchyň taktéž s teráskou. Kamene stěny i podlaha, bez topení dost zima (v březnu). Jedine minus - plíseň na stropě v jedné ze dvou koupelen. Sousedství celkem hlučné. Okolí vlastně celkově příjemné, přímo pod Etnou, tak to je parádička a Giarre je malé městečko ne tolik turistické, takže člověk zažije takový běžný den obyvatele Sicílie.

We stayed with our son at Rosario and Mariela's house for 8 days. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Even before our arrival, Rosario accompanied us, gave us detailed information and helped and advised on every issue. Rosario was always available and helped with joy and goodwill. He always asked if we were missing anything. When we arrived, the best of Sicilian produce awaited us, including pastries, yogurt and milk, a six-pack of water and other products. Rosario allowed us to arrive early and leave later, according to our flight times. In addition, at the end he drove our son to the train station. In conclusion, when we come to Sicily again, we will be happy to return and will also recommend them to friends and acquaintances. The place is very nice, clean and comfortable. There is everything you need for your stay. There are lots of supermarkets and cafes near the place. It’s a little bit far from the beach and the city centre. There are bus stops but the buses in Catania are not coming on schedule

Logement agréable et propre, très bien équipé, literie confortable, avec deux balcons dont l'un réservé à l'intendance avec accès depuis la cuisine. Notre voiture de location (Fiat Tipo) était trop grande pour bénéficier de la place de parking dans la cour de l'immeuble, mais nous avons toujours trouvé à nous garer sans problème (et gratuitement) dans la rue. L'appartement est un peu à l'écart du centre d'Acireale mais très proche de la mer (pas de possibilité de se baigner en cette saison), et l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter le sud-est de la Sicile : Catane (nous y sommes allés en train depuis la gare de Guardia-Mangano, à 5mn en voiture depuis la location), Taormine, l'Etna, également Syracuse et Noto (mais circulation un peu intense pour dépasser Catane). Nous n'avons pas rencontré Giuseppe mais il a toujours été très réactif à nos demandes, très clair dans ses explications et amical. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié ses cadeaux de bienvenue !

Merci à Angelo et à sa famille pour l'accueil et la disponibilité. Ma famille et moi avons passé un très beau séjour. Ils nous ont offert les piments et mandarines récoltés. Nous avons même pu acheter de l'huile d'olive locale toute fraîche. La villa est très agréable avec une vue magnifique sur l'Etna.

Spent a very nice 3 nights here, and very happy with our stay. Had excellent pizzas at local restaurants recommended by Gabriella, and nearby bakery was top notch. Absolutely requires a car. If you can handle Sicilian driving then the driveway is not a big deal. Plan on 1 hour drives to Etna, Taormina, Catania.

A very nice place, almost like a tiny palazzo. Nice rooms, perfect for families, and a beautiful private courtyard where you can sit outside. Several places to eat within short walking distance. Comfortable place, very clean. Floriana and her hisband are extremely friendly and responsive, which made everything super easy. We had a great stay and would come back anytime.

Abbiamo trascorso io e mio figlio,una giornata diversa,immersi nella natura.Lo chalet e' curato nei particolari non manca nulla,sembri a casa tua dove trovi tutto l'occorente, forno,macchina da caffe',al semplice imbuto...O quant'altro.Esternamente c'e' la piscina con sdraio dove ci siamo rilassati,e l'altalena e lo scivolo dove mio figlio si e divertito a giocare..poi mio figlio insieme al figlio dei titolari sono andati a visitare la loro piccola fattoria,dove ci sono galline,oche,tacchini.Puro divertimento,torneremo di nuovo, datto a famiglie con bambini...SUPER CONSIGLIATO VOTO 10

Prachtige locatie midden in de natuur tussen de wijngaarden en olijfbomen. Heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen, buiten te BBQen, en omliggende omgeving te bezoeken incl Etna. Enige nadeel is de smalle weg ernaar toe. Met een Skodia Fabia (relatief breed) is het ons gelukt, maar wel bedoeld voor de goede autorijder. Anders eind van het pad te parkeren mogelijk. Wat ons betreft meer dan waard en een aanrader!!

Ci siamo trovati benissimo, la casa deliziosa è anche l’esterno ampio. Un luogo dove regna la pace e la tranquillità. Luigi ha saputo darci ottimi consigli su dove mangiare nei dintorni. Spero di tornare presto!

Ein wunderschönes Cottage am Fusse des Etnas und mit einer grossen Gartenanlage! Diletta & Salvatore sind herzliche Menschen, die Kommunikation war allzeit super! Der Kamin war für uns sogar schon vorbereitet! Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt! Wir kommen wieder - bestimmt! Danke für alles Un bellissimo cottage ai piedi dell'Etna e con un grande giardino! Diletta e Salvatore sono persone cordiali, la comunicazione è stata sempre ottima! Il camino è stato addirittura preparato per noi! Ci siamo sentiti come a casa! Torneremo di sicuro! Grazie di tutto

Netter, herzlicher Empfang von Fabrizio. Der Ofen war schon an (es war Winter). Es gab selbstgemachten Kuchen, Wein und kleine Leckereien. Fabrizio war sehr nett und hat uns alles erklärt. Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich. Wir dachten, dass die Wohnung über zwei Etagen geht. Hatten aber nur die untere Etage gebucht. Es sind zwei Wohnungen. Eine oben, eine unten. Die Sicht auf den Etna war atemberaubend und auch die Sicht aufs Meer. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Fabrizio war immer erreichbar. Wir haben auch in seinem laden eingekauft und wurden gut beraten. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Lellas nettem Häuschen und ihrem wunderschönen Garten! Es ist wunderbar ruhig dort, es gibt genug Sonne aber auch Schatten und durch das Hintertor ist man direkt oberhalb des Meeres, wo man schön auf und ab spazieren kann. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt, wenn man einfach entspannen will und nicht viele Ausflüge vorhat. Wir haben nach dem ersten Spaziergang Müllsäcke mitgenommen, denn leider gibt es einige Ecken, an denen ziemlich viel Plastikmüll in der Landschaft liegt, der letztendlich im Meer landet. Wir finden, es ist unserer aller Verantwortung, unsere Erde sauber zu halten und als Touristen, die die sizilianische Infrastruktur mit belasten, einen kleinen Beitrag zu leisten. Wenn jeder ein bisschen mithilft, kann es einen großen Effekt haben und es fühlt sich gut an, etwas sinnvolles zu tun und ist ganz nebenbei getan - beim Spazierengehen :) Danke an alle, die mitmachen und sich um die Gesundheit unseres Planeten mit kümmern!
