Because of this, you may be fishing in a creek mouth, river or lake. Hiking with Goats
A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Peanut, a large French Alpine, and Rosa, a medium sized Toggenburg. Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Rosa. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: - Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Rosa are larger goats and headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. - You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". - This adventure is "rain or shine"! The goats look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way.
