We stayed as a family with small children (2.5 and 5yo) at Sophie‘s place and it suited our needs perfectly. The house is spacious, clean, looks exactly as pictured and provides everything we needed for our week-long vacation. It is conveniently located, in walking distance both to the daily market, small shops and restaurants at the center of town as well as the beach. Check-in and check-out were really easy and Sophie was very quick to answer all our questions. Thank you again, Sophie!

The accommodation is in a great location, almost in the middle of the island, which makes it easy to visit this beautiful place. The house has a beautiful story which is explained in the welcome booklet. Clean and very well decorated house with all the information needed for a good stay. If we return to the island, we would not hesitate to take this place again.

Whether you're cooking, relaxing or enjoying the setting, nothing is missing. The beach is really close, just a 5-minute walk, which allows you to fully enjoy the sea without having to take the car. We were with four adults and two children for a week in Le Carrelet and we enjoyed it very much. The house is very nice, large and open. Nevertheless, everyone also has their privacy. The children played a lot in the garden, were in the pool or outside on the street. Everything was clean, in good condition and stylish. The location is nice, very close to the beach. However, it is about 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car to the center of Fouras. For restaurants or the baker, you have to take this route. Otherwise, it is a good starting point for excursions, such as to La Rochelle. Even on days with bad weather, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time in the house. We will be happy to come back.

Finally, Clara and her husband are very kind and place great importance on your well-being. We'll be there!

A very pleasant house 30 seconds' walk from the beach, with the pool as a bonus to enjoy. A real pleasure to open the shutters in the morning, hear the sound of the waves and feel the spray. We had a lovely stay, communication with Stéphane was smooth. He was a very responsive and caring host.

We had a wonderful stay at this typical old building that is almost on the water!! We lived to the rhythms of the tides and went oyster foraging in front of the house. A treat and a real luxury. The photos match the accommodation well and the house is in a good location. There are restaurants at the small port next door, a 10-minute walk away, and access to the bike path. In short, we would love to come back to this little piece of heaven.

Quiet stay, with everything available, When the weather is nice, the terrace is very pleasant. There is everything you need, bikes, loungers, barbecue, throws.. The neighborhood is friendly, restaurants within walking distance, 10 minutes from the beach of Foulerot, good memories of the pine forest. Thank you for the clean and functional rental, not to mention the welcome with Oléron's coffee and lemonade.
