Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Menai Strait

Iwan’s house was perfect for our group of 8. Well laid out bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and parking and the open plan kitchen/living/ dining area was fantastic for a large group to socialise.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Lovely property and fantastic base for walking. Great host!

Had a wonderful stay with family ages 5- 78! The house was beautiful and fully equipped for everything we needed. beds were super comfy. Germaine was easily contactable and answered any queries I had straight away. Very close to local amenities and the beach. we are already talking about coming back next year.

Snowdon summit is an absolutely beautiful property. We didnt get a view of Snowdon due to the weather but the surroundings are beautiful! The pigs and pigletts are so cute. 100% would stay again

Had a fantastic long weekend in Lynne's beautiful cottage. Great location for activities and walks. Easily walkable to the local amenities. Will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Helen’s. While the weather wasn’t in our favour, it was very quiet and well appointed, and a convenient distance to Snowden and great for unwinding in the hot tub after a strenuous walk.

Great place to use as a base for Abersoch. House has everything you need. Will definitely be going back next year!

Great house, ideal for family stay. Plenty of sitting and dining room. Parking is fine for two or (unlikely) more cars, one in the drive and free road space around it. Rhos-on-Sea is a super classic quiet seaside spot with beach ideal for young children. There is a Co-op just down the road from the house. The bus to and from Llandudno and Rhyl goes past the road at the end of the little cul-de-sac in which the house is situated. Highly recommended 😎

We’ve had a lovely few days at the apartment with our family. The location is great for visiting different beaches and the surroundings are just beautiful. Our kids especially loved the goats and chickens! The hot tub was very spacious, we loved sitting in at night and enjoying the view. Damien was a great host that always replied very promptly. Little heads up for families with young children, it might be worth bringing a black out blind for the skylight in the bedroom as our children woke up very early due to the daylight. Damien said it is something they would be looking at fitting soon. Overall We would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back in the future!

I had a fabulous stay at Ann's place. It's very light and airy and the space has been well thought-out. I had everything I needed. It's both private and well-located for access to the beach and other amenities. Also a great location for access to the Snowdonia National Park (I highly recommend Beddgelert), Portmeirion and the Llŷn peninsula. Ann was very friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be coming back again next year.

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean and tidy, which made us feel right at home. Plus, the location was incredibly good, making it super easy to get around and explore Llandudno.

The apartment is finished to a lovely standard. It’s fresh, modern and beautifully maintained with a lovely rustic feel. Everything we needed was there. The things we used, such as crockery, towels and the kitchen appliances were good quality items. Overall, we enjoyed everything about our stay.

Such a beautiful self contained annex. Two beds served us well in two rooms. Lovely thoughtful touches with a home from home feeling. Wish we could have stayed longer. We met Sue and Ray enjoying the sun on their balcony, lovely to chat and be advised on local places to eat.

We have had the most wonderful week staying at Alan's flat. The location was brilliant for walking to both Llandudno beaches and surrounding town. Great that there was designated parking too. location was easy to find and clear instructions for finding parking and getting in to the flat Bedrooms were great set up for our family and the whole flat was spacious and homely. Alan was responsive to any queries we had. Great folder with local recommendations - had a brilliant curry from Blue Elephant after reading the recommendation. We spent every day on the beaches and weve come home rested and refreshed.

Jon was a very responsive and helpful host. The apartment is ideally located just a minute off the promenade. There are local shops just round the corner and we felt safe and comfortable. The flat is spacious and comfortable, well equipped and family & pet friendly. Our grandkids loved it so much, they asked if we could come back in the summer! Thanks Jon!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit was very clean and cosy. We think that the location and proximity to snowdonia and other attractions was great! We did struggle a little bit to find the place when we arrived and it is maybe important to note that there are two roads with the same name in Llanfairfechen that are part of the map which Lauren sends. Overall a fantastic stay, thank you.

I had a wonderful 3 night stay at The Crows Nest. The views were more incredible that the photos! The host was responsive, the bed was comfortable, the lounge great, the kitchen well equipped, the garden was very pretty and the views, WOW! I would love to stay again. It was a great place to use as a base for the surrounding areas. Highly recommended! Thank you so much.

This place was amazing- exceptionally spotless, located 5 mins away from the beach, amazing beach, very quiet, and Christian was amazing - responded straight away and was very helpful. Would 100% reccomend.

Great communication/instructions from Alyson for check-in and hosting our arrival. Perfect place to stay for myself and the two young grandkids, groundfloor, 2 beds and 2 bathrooms, outside space, secure parking, great loaction, the apartment has everything you need, its been extremely well thought out, tastefully decorated, was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay, could not fault it, would definitely stay there again if returning to the area, a lovely cosy home from home The grandkids commented on how comfortable the beds were, we all slept extremely well, they loved their stay and didn't want to leave. The complex was very quiet even though its adjacent to a busy road, couldn't hear any road noise inside, or from other residents, it was so quiet and relaxing, close to the prom and shops and it was great to have a secure parking space. Some nice touches, milk and snacks on arrival, thank you Alyson Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Llandudno area.

Everything is convenient, clean, easy to get in and out, you can walk to the beach.

We arrived just after midnight on a spontaneous trip, and check-in was super easy, which we really appreciated. There was a parking space available as promised, so we didn’t have to drive around looking for one. The house was tidy and clean, with enough cutlery and everything we needed. The room was comfortable, and there was a smart TV which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was a really positive experience—would definitely recommend!

Loved Katy's place. Perfect hop to the beach (15 min walk) or Barmouth one side and Porthmadog the other. Great space for a family. Lots of entertainment. Great pubs nearby. Recommend the Robinson pub, lovely spot by a small room river. The railway in Porthmadog is fab also. Katy is very attentive and her dog is very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Llandudno apartment was really great and ideally situated. Arrival at Mike and Trish's was so very smooth parking on drive an added bonus access into accommodation, cleanliness and decoration all excellent we felt right at home especially with everything we needed provided with goodies in the fridge. Thank you so very much for our stay at your wonderful apartment.
