I traveled with my parents, husband and kids (4.5 and 3). The moment we entered the place, it felt like home. We were familiar with the locality as we had already lived in the city earlier (my parents for 34 years and me 25 years). We intended to spend a lot of time at the property and just soak in the air of Shillong, and that was possible because the home provided us with enough space and facilities we could ask for. Dad loved the early morning sunlight on the terrace and did his exercises there. Kids loved the space inside and outside and played their hearts out. Kitchen and washing machine made our lives so much easier. Marc's caretaker was available to help us out with whatever we needed. The property is very old (traditional Assam cottage), and hence requires a slightly better maintenance. There are tiny bits all over the place that need some attention, but I suppose that a renovation is already in plan. Thanks for helping me create new memories with my kids!

Our stay in Shillong was absolutely wonderful, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing host, Derrick. From the moment we checked in until the end of our stay, everything was smooth and hassle-free. The place was spotless and well-maintained throughout. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, which made the stay even more comfortable. Derrick was incredibly cooperative and always prompt in responding to any of our needs or queries—whether it was a quick request or local suggestions, he was always available to help. The location of the house is also a big plus, with grocery stores and shops just a short walk away. Having a 24-hour caretaker available just a call away was an added convenience that made us feel even more at ease. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and well-hosted stay in Shillong!

Phiba, the host is super sweet. Responsible. We wanted to check-in before 3 hrs of check-in time and that too was last moment, but she made that possible. Without any extra fee. Not only Phiba, we met with her family , they all very welcoming. She has 4 beautiful babies! 3 dogs and one little cat! They were definitely a cherry on the cake! It's sad that we book last moment and we were only there for one day, the next days were already booked. But if we are coming back , we will definitely stay at hers! Very nice property for stay. we came around 10 people and easily got accomodation. Also separate kitchen is there where you can cook your favourite item. The owner Kenneth is a very nice and supportive person who always help us during our stay. will definitely visit the place in coming days.

If you plan to visit Shillong, this is the place to be! Vivi has a beautiful place for your stay which is located a little outside the city giving you a break from the chaos and noise. She is always responsive and provided me with a lot of recommendations whenever asked. The place is very nicely maintained with delicious breakfasts sent right to your room every morning. Oh yes! the view from the balcony is mesmerising. I so look forward to my next visit to Shillong as I know where I am gonna be staying!
