Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Matua

Lynley’s holiday home is spacious and perfect for large families/groups. The home is well presented and well designed. It is a lovely place to relax and has excellent spots for everyone to come together.

We had a lovely time and there is plenty to like about Kristie's place. Obviously the proximity to the beach but also the outdoor shower setting and large porch were standouts for me. We were travelling with 3 large dogs so the fully fenced front yard was great. Very clean and well presented.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Jane's place. Set in a very peaceful location. A short walk to the shopping centre and a short drive to the Mount. Easy check-in. Instructions were detailed and easy to follow. A very comfortable home. Would recommend.

It was a good fit for our whole family, including our small dog. The location was a highlight, with the beach just a short walk away. The living area was cosy and worked really well for relaxing and watching movies on the rainy days.

Thank you Sue for a lovely stay! We stayed at Sue’s house for a week with our young family - the house was very child friendly and fully fenced back yard which was great for the kids to play and run around. Location great, beach access next door, plenty of off street parking, the house had everything we could need! Covered outdoor area which was perfect with the rain, we could still sit outside. Laundry included a washing machine - no dryer but portable clothesline. Really clean and tidy 👍🏻 great value, we would absolutely stay again and recommend.

Leanne’s place suited our needs perfectly. We were a small group at the Mount for a sports event and found the full kitchen, two bathrooms and shared living space suited our needs well. The beach and a great cafe were only a very short walk away and with our rental car we found all parts of the area easily accessible. Thank you Leanne and Stephen!

A great place to stay for a long weekend. Right on the beach.

Stayed here with for a girls trip. It had everything and more. Didn’t need to leave the house, the pool, spa and fire created a lovely atmosphere. ☺️

Alec and Anna were exceptionally gracious hosts and provided much insight to the area and things to do. They treated me like family. My experience was amazing in every way.

Thank you to these kind and generous hosts, they both were so easy to talk with and so helpful. It was a perfect place to have a break at, I just wish that I could have stayed for longer. It is really nice place to stay for couple or single person with really nice views. Easy to find and the owners are really friendly always respond to the questions whenever you ask them.

Lovely, well-presented home in a fantastic location! The unit had everything we needed. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like Weet-Bix, bread, spreads, and tinned fruit. David’s wife greeted us on arrival and gave us a quick tour - she was absolutely lovely. A great stay overall!

My daughter and partner stayed. This is their review: Friendly on arrival. Great for a short stay. Central to everywhere. Helpful with great communication. Very clean. Only small negative was that the beds were hard and would benefit from toppers. Would return if in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! The apartment itself is so spacious, beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location was close to everything- we walked everywhere the weekend. Will most definitely be back - this is the perfect place for a weekend in the Mount!

The flat is conveniently located near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The back of the apartment complex has direct access to the beach. We had a great stay.

We had a very nice time in a very vibrant part of town a little noisy but fun, it is an apartment so not all rooms have windows and our host was fun and very friendly
