Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Mareuil en Périgord

Everything you hope for in a AirBNB/ Gite in France! We stayed one week with our teenage kids this October. The house is old but has every comfort needed including a large fire place and a washing machine. The atmosphere is right and every room is decorated in a unique way. The garden is large with lots of places to sit, lounge and a table to have breakfast, lunch and even a bbq for dinner. We spend lots of time in the hot tub and at the very nice heated pool. Pascale is a wonderful host, she waited for our late arrival, she had snacks and even breakfast for us to get started, she provided nice bathrobes and towels for the pool, had great local recommendations and was always available for a chat. The place is a little secluded but that was just right for us. Lot’s of fields and forests with plenty of wildlife, we did lots of long hikes with the dog. And for a visit to the market, a restaurant, castles, etc most places are less than 30 minute drive. Highly recommended!

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

The night was very comfortable and breakfast (with a succulent homemade lost bread) hearty! Colette is a real ray of sunshine and we will return without hesitation to her house, the next one we will go to the area.

Christiane is the best. Excellent communication and very welcoming person! The appointment was initially scheduled for 3 p.m.; following my request, she kindly agreed to move our arrival forward to 2 p.m. This accommodation is very peaceful, close to Sarlat and plenty of beautiful places to visit in this beautiful department. Very clean accommodation. The description of the offer is totally identical to the reality of this rental and unbeatable value for money in the area! Chantal and Christophe are extremely kind hosts. Ensure a warm and friendly welcome. Breakfast is perfect too. Very attentive to our well-being, they offered us a cooler with frozen bottles to keep our small things cool. I highly recommend it and I even shared their site to recommend it to friends. A great place thanks to beautiful people.

We had an amazing stay with Chloe and Greg at their beautiful home in the countryside of the Dordogne. The location was peaceful and we had the best breakfast in France each morning on the terrace. Thank you both!

In a refurbished old farmhouse, these 3 guest rooms with a small adjoining campsite are a real haven of peace. The interior design, with old boards in particular, is very successful. Large indoor and outdoor common area to share with the other bedrooms. Julien is very welcoming. To be recommended.

Only one night at Dominique's but on occasion we will gladly go back The house is superb and very well located Domiqiues is very friendly and ideally very interesting

Keiyuki and his friends were lovely and offered a consistent breakfast including: fresh croissant, and bread, orange juice and hot drink, homemade piece of cake, butter and homemade jam. The swimming pool with the view is great!

We had a great time at Mathilde and Martin's. The place is sublime, the house very warm. The common areas are very very very pleasant to live in, you almost feel in nature while cooking. The huge table invites long discussions with the different guests of the house. It's modern, welcoming, soothing, bright, friendly. We were with our one-year-old baby. She was able to roam everywhere with peace of mind. Everything was provided to accommodate children. Thank you! And it was a great meeting with Martin and Mathilde. You've successfully made a very nice project of this house, well done! To sum up: we spent our stay wondering who we will come back with to spend a week or two. We loved it so much that it already makes you want to come back! Looking forward to it!

What a gem! Our stay at Le Coustal was everything we could have wanted and more. Lynne and Paul were so warm, welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. The home and grounds are beautiful and full of history. Breakfast was delicious. We hope to make it back again some day!

Couldn’t have asked for better hosts staying with John and Janet. Friendly, welcoming and helpful with a brilliant breakfast provided each day, beautiful surroundings, nice chats and use of the pool. The living area was spotless and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wedding locally and it was a great base just outside the village. Our only very minor suggestion would be whether a mini fridge could be provided to save us disturbing the hosts by asking to use their fridge fairly often, but all in all it was a perfect stay. Thank you so much, we hope we’ll be back and will recommend to friends and family wanting a relaxing stay in the Dordogne!

We with our two kids (5yr and 1yr) had a wonderful stay at Le Palais. Will and Jasmine made us feel right at home. When we arrived they welcomed us with a delicious glass of wine and tasty 3 course meal. We stayed at the cottage which was clean and snug and the beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and you can get your rosemary or sage in the garden. The last two nights we stayed at the main house in one of the suites which I would define as an elegant and luxurious space without feeling cold. Jasmine is an amazing chef so don’t miss out on her dinners when you stay at le Palais. The breakfast is luxurious with croissants and French specialties followed by daily changing two little courses. Will gave us plenty of tips for things to do and see and was overall very accommodating. The main house is a beautiful place and it’s evident they decorated it with love and attention. The pool area is lovely as well and a great place to relax with a book or to hang out with your kids. All this accompanied by a beautiful view on a castle and their four horses, a fairytale town on 15 minutes walk and some of the best sunsets. We will definitely come back again.
