Friendly and available host, Jocelyne was sensitive to the fact that we had our cat with us. The accommodation is perfect because it overlooks a small enclosed patio and we were able to enjoy it :) The bed is a sofa bed that has seen better days. For everything else, PERFECT! Bikes available right next door and close to all the shops. The city center is only a twenty-minute walk away. Thanks again Jocelyne. We look forward to seeing you on our next visit.

With my daughters we really enjoyed the stay at Dana's. The apartment is spacious and pleasant to stay in. No unpleasant surprises, everything matched the description and the comments from previous tenants are accurate. Sylvie in charge of check-in and checkout was very friendly and communication with Dana was easy and enjoyable. The location is really ideal when you want to stay right in the center and you can do anything on foot. Therefore, I recommend this listing ++++++ and I thank Dana and Sylvie for the service and their kindness. If the opportunity arises, I will be happy to go back.

Thank you for hosting us and especially congratulations on this independent guest room overlooking a beautiful terrace. Too bad the village only has 2 restaurants where a reservation is required the day before, otherwise you have to travel to other villages for lunch and dinner.

We enjoyed our getaway of a few days in La Rochelle very much, Philippe and Marie-Paule are very welcoming, breakfast is a real plus, as well as tips on the surrounding beaches. Despite the absence of a kitchenette (clearly specified in the listing, information that we had missed), we managed with the small fridge provided.

Philippe and Valerie are great people! Very nice, warm and inviting. The cottage is beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable . The pool is safe for children, that's the best part. The garden is huge ,very well maintained and very quiet ... a small haven of peace . Breakfast is done with love and it can be seen , delicious with quality products, it is inexpensive . We simply loved staying here and wish our hosts a beautiful follow-up to their project because they deserve it well . Thank you .

Jean-Pierre is a very attentive host! Always smiling, even on the phone, and very welcoming and helpful! We enjoyed the accommodation which was as described and as pictured, but we were unable to enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked, which is very nice, well maintained and clean. Very nice stay. Walking distance to AYTRÉ beach in 10 minutes, beautiful walk along the sea. House with large terrace very nice and quiet. Close to La Rochelle and Chatelaillon 15 minutes by car. Rooms on the ground floor in the cool when it is 27. We'll be there again. Thanks for the stay.

Great welcome from Nadine, very friendly and ready to give advice on activities to do, as well as to provide services (laundry and bike rental at a good price). We had a great weekend at the L’Authentique cottage with our group of friends/family. The place is simply of high quality (materials, bedding, bathroom, living room, etc.). Étienne and Andrea are attentive and very responsive when we had questions. They were also very accommodating on our check in and check out time. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to return at our next gatherings with friends/family.

For the geographical location. 10 minutes from the beach by bike. 25 minutes from the center of the island of Oléron by car. 20 minutes from the Palmyra Zoo. 5 minutes walk from the Leclerc and seen on the market. brief impeccable location. Very nice and warm hosts, full of good advice, we were able to chat together it was very nice. Breakfast is a big + and is very good (tea, coffee, croissant, breads, butter and cottage cheese). Bike rental is very convenient and the hosts are very accommodating and flexible on check-ins and checkouts. Bathroom & bedroom nickel. Nothing to complain about except the price of the room is a little expensive, but this is the case for all the accommodation on the island. I would recommend it without a second thought if you want to stay on the island!
