Waterfront vacation rentals in Mapo-gu

I’ve stayed at Devin’s places a few times over the past couple years, and they have come to be my go-to places to stay in Seoul. The building is easy to find which is super helpful when coming from abroad and you’re too jet-lagged to try to explain to the taxi driver where the building is, especially if it’s your first time in Seoul. This place had great views of the Han River and Lotte World Tower. The apartment itself is exactly as pictured and has the amenities for a long term stay. What surprised me the most was the amount of storage available in a studio apartment. I stayed for two months and I brought a lot of things. I was able to store everything neatly so I didn’t have to live in clutter for two months. Devin is also always really nice and responsive. I definitely recommend staying here!

Staying at this place was absolutely amazing, easy to get via municipal means (bus, metro) , stations 3-8 minutes from the accommodation. Small fun restaurants with a lot of good food in the area, several supermarkets close by. A little further away (20 min walk) we found a big food market. Nice walking paths along the Han river (only a few minutes from the property). Very calm neighbourhood. Very easy to communicate with the host, always responded quickly and explained well and always in a welcoming way. Highly recommended

This property and host deserve 10 star not just 5…we have travelled many countries and check in many Airbnb but this property took our heart..so beautiful…so neat and clean…located at very good shopping and food street. Services : Washroom was equipped with almost every amenities, earbud, cotton-pad, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryer, comb etc. Kitchen also has nice cutlery, large size fridge, utensils, dining space, free water bottles Rooms 2 Rooms with enough space, very neat and designed, both room equipped with AC’s Other Services Mobile charger in both rooms so you don’t need to use our own. Marshal Bluetooth speaker for entertainment Special thanks to this lovely host for making our trip better, always polite, responsive. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The place is very clean and has a lot of beds, which is great for a large group of people. Each room has air conditioning, so you can have a pleasant stay even in the summer months. In addition, the accommodation was spacious, so I was able to stay comfortably, and there were plenty of cutlery, so there was no inconvenience when cooking.

My family of 7 enjoyed our stay in Heanu’s home! Our host went out of their way to check on us to make sure everything was going well. The home was clean and pictured as expected. We were comfy, and we had everything we needed. Like what other reviewers mentioned, there is a steep hill to get to the home, but you can take a detour on the next street for a slightly less steep hill!

Our stay at River Rest was so comfortable. The rooms was cozy and we felt home right away. The kitchen was easy to use and had the necessities. Everything was clean and fungsional. The apartment was nice and warm even though it was pretty cold outside. The neighborhood is a gem! We have never been to Seoul before, but we found out that Mapo-gu is the coolest place if you want a chill vibe with small cafe's and an authentic market. Also the busses are so close and easy to use if you wanna explore more of Seoul. I give my warmest recommendations to 'River Rest'. We spend 2 weeks there and would do it again next time around :-)

What a fantastic place to stay at! We like staying at local places, away from tourist spots and this place felt right at home! the unit is super clean, lots of amenities, very close to bus and subway and overall just a great place. Luna is very very responsive since the first day we booked. She answered questions, provided recommendations, and was very accommodating. She also was very helpful in booking a van for us to head back to the airport as we ended up having more luggage! She made all the arrangements and paid with her own card first, then proceeded to charge us through Airbnb after. She went above and beyond as a host and we are extremely thankful! looking forward to booking this place on our next trip to Seoul!!!

Ingi's home in Itaewon is absolutely recommended! This charming house is located in a wonderfully quiet neighborhood, so you can unwind after a busy day. The location is perfect: the bus stop is within walking distance and within 10 minutes you can reach a super cozy street full of nice restaurants and bars. The first night we ate there, and it was fantastic – both the food and the friendly people made the experience unforgettable. As far as amenities are concerned, everything was in top condition. An extra bonus point is definitely the roof terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. If you feel like a night out and want to dance, you can be in the lively Itaewon Street in 5 minutes by taxi, or you can walk there in about 30 minutes. In short, a stay at Ingi offers the best of both worlds: peace and relaxation, with the bustling city within reach.

I strongly recommend this place to anyone during their stay. The apartment is well located. it matches the picture and description 숙희 is a really nice person who will welcome you nicely. She will be happy to answer to any of your questions I will surely come back!

Everything about this trip was fantastic, including this home. The view was stunning and the train station was right out front which made getting around super easy. My friends and I could not have been happier with how helpful and friendly our hosts were as well anytime we needed to reach out. We loved it here! Thank you for lending your home to us!

The place is conveniently located within a 5 min walk to the metro. Lots of nearby restaurants, with close access to a protected walking/running path by the lake/stream.
