The cabin dream - with its own sauna

Enjoy quiet days in a cozy cabin with a brand new wood-fired sauna, perfect for relaxing after hiking in the mountains or a day on the slopes. The cabin is large (109 sqm), spacious and open. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities both in summer and winter.

Welcome to stay in our nice guest house, which is located between Malung and Sälen, about 200 meters from highway 66. Approximately 15 minutes' drive to Kläppen ski resort, 30-45 minutes to the remaining ski resorts in Sälen and about 25 minutes to the start of the Vasa Race. In summer, there are also good opportunities to ride MTB on our nice trails and maybe take a dip in the heated pool Ärobadet, where there is also an outdoor gym, playground, sauna, etc. only 5 minutes by car. The proximity to Tällberg provides a wide range of restaurants, spa and cultural experiences as well as hiking trails, skiing and ice skating. The nearest swimming area is at Tällbergs Camping or at Laknäs Ångbåtsbrygga. In the nearby area, there are also several other well-known excursion destinations such as Dalhalla, Falu mine, Zorn farm, Vasaloppsmålet, Romme Alpin, Carl Larsson farm, Orsa Grönklitt, and more.

Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

The cottage is located on our own plot (5,000 sqm) in the nice village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The bed is made and clean towels are provided when you arrive, it's easy to enjoy yourself here! The village is located along Siljan, by car it takes 4 minutes to Leksand Sommarland, 8 minutes to central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg.
