Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Malia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marianthi's and Thodoris' house. The sea side view is just epic; from the hammock you can just chill, look over the sea and the mountains and feel the soft sea breeze. They are truly wonderful hosts, and they quickly responded to any requests from our side and provided us with nice suggestions on places to visit. The house was just beautiful and well cared for, especially the garden and patio were wonderful for our young kids who loved exploring and picking up lemons, that we used to make an amazing lemonade. Many days we started the day by walking to the nearby beach so that the kids could make sandcastles and we could relax into the day. We also enjoyed the restaurants at the beach that have a decent selection and good quality food. We would highly recommend this place to anyone, but especially to families with kids.

The place is exactly like in the photos and Anna is a great host! We had a great time staying there for our girls trip. The place is 5-7 min by foot to the sea and nearest beach & restaurants. Anna was always very kind and responsive when we needed to reach out to her for any questions. I recommend this place to everyone and will stay there again the next time I’m in Crete.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit auf Kreta und in der Unterkunft von Marina! Wir waren zu zweit mit Kind unterwegs. Insofern war es sehr praktisch, dass der Strand von Stalida fußläufig nur ein paar hundert Meter entfernt ist. Zu dritt konnten wir dort gut schlafen und morgens auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Gekocht haben wir nicht - wenig aufwändige Essen wären möglich gewesen. Parken kann man kostenlos direkt in der Straße. Das Appartement ist liebevoll und schön eingerichtet und es war sehr sauber. Kommunikation mit Marina ist schnell und einfach. Ankunft auch mit Code möglich. Also gerne wieder, herzliche Empfehlung. Vielen Dank!

Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again

You won't find more welcoming and warm hosts than Alexis and Nikoleta. They and their wonderful, charming and very comfortable accomodation made a great vacation unforgettable. It's worth it for the patio alone, but that was just the start. They had the most extensive provisions in an acommodation we've come across, even a homemade pasta dish and the most delicious lemoncake on the day of our arrival. Without a doubt one of the best AirBnB experiences we've ever had. Absolutely fantastic.

Very comfortable two bedrooms. Fantastic location right on the shore with their own access to the water. A lot of good restaurants with in a walking distance.

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben / auf den Fotos abgebildet. Wir wurden persönlich von George empfangen, der uns alles kurz gezeigt hat. Wir hatten absolute Privatsphäre & George hat immer innerhalb kürzester Zeit auf Nachrichten geantwortet. Den Pool beheizen zu lassen, hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt im Mai (19 Grad waren uns einfach zu kalt). Absolutes Highlight war das Hamam, was wir fast täglich genutzt haben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder & können vor allem George als Gastgeber nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Zu sechst haben wir eine schöne Zeit in diesem gemütlichen, griechisch originalem Haus verbracht. Der Ort ist sehr ruhig und liegt in einer wunderschönen Berglandschaft (25 min. von der Inselhauptstadt Heraklion entfernt). Aber mit dem Auto (Leihwagen) sehr gut erreichbar. Im Dorf gibt es 2 Tavernen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben die echte griechische Gastfreundschaft und das leckere Essen genießen dürfen. Unsere Gastgeber waren zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und haben sich auch nach unserem Befinden erkundigt. Wer sich einen autarken Urlaub, in einer malerischen Kulisse wünscht, ist hier an der richtigen Adresse! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Anna ist eine tolle Gastgeberin 🥰 Freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Das Appartment ist toll, ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und werde gerne wieder kommen.

Super clean and modern apartment in an amazing location. Beds were nice and comfortable. Beautiful view of the harbor off the balcony. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing. Tons of places to shop, eat and and have a coffee or drink within walking distance. We walked from the ferry port and it is about a 15 minute walk with your luggage. There is also a bus stop that's about a 10 minute walk that will take you all over town and is very inexpensive. Fokion is a great host and provided instructions so the apartment was very easy to find and check-in/out.

Logement extrêmement propre et convival. Et que dire de notre hôte, Giorgos, qui est toujours aux petits soins et qui répond en l'espace de quelques minutes, voir secondes. Aussi, merci à lui de nous avoir permis de vivre une activité de quad à laquelle nous avions fait un croix. Dans ma panique, il a tout organisé, lui qui connait très bien son coin et les gens qui y travaille.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Marinas und Aristeas Eltern empfangen. Das Apartment ist einfach und zweckmäßig ausgestattet, alles war sehr sauber und wir fanden bei der Ankunft einen Teller mit Obst im Kühlschrank. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten. Strand, Tavernen und ein kleiner Supermarkt sind zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Die Kommunikation war sehr herzlich, wir durften im Garten Zitronen pflücken und die Eltern haben uns mit griechischem Kaffee und selbstgebackenem Kuchen verwöhnt. Vielen Dank an Aristea und Marina für ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Super dejlig lys og godt indrettet lejlighed. Vi følte os hjemme. Skøn balkon med udsigt over havet. Eva var der for at tage imod os og forklare om lejligheden. Der var frist brød og div. delikatesser i køleskabet. Hurtig, venlig og imødekommende kommunikation med Eva. Vi kan på det varmeste anbefale lejligheden.

A truly fantastic place to stay. Exceptionally well stocked apartment with absolutely everything you would need for a long or short stay. Close to lots of restaurants, but well stocked kitchen if you prefer to cook. Beautiful terrace for dining, both undercover and outside. Host Viky is charming and friendly and could not be more helpful. We hope to return another time.

We had a great week in Eva's apartment where we had everything we needed and Eva made us very welcome. The apartment was perfect for my wife and I and had everything we needed. Eva was very attentive, responding very quickly to any queries or questions we had. Although it was end of season there was still plenty to do in Stalida. The weather was fantastic and as always the Cretian people were very hospitable. The beach is right across the quiet road, with sun loungers to hire very cheaply. We found Stalida an excellent base for exploring the East of the island (Heraklion, Plaka, Spinalonga, Agios Nikolaos) and Eva gave us some great local restaurant tips. All in all a very enjoyable stay, made all the better by an excellent host.

Stella's place was a lovely stay! With mountain views and the beach 5 minutes away, it was a peaceful and scenic stay. The space was clean and comfortable and Stella was so communicative! It was so convenient that she lived nearby as she was able to address any issues very quickly. A quick walk to Analipsi which is an adorable little town with markets and restaurants (definitely more things open during the on season, but still charming). Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Tasos est un hôte extrêmement accueillant. À notre arrivée tardive, nous avons trouvé un frigo et un congélateur généreusement garni. Des fruits, des confitures, des biscottes et des boissons fraîches et chaudes nous attendaient. Et Tasos a été absolument adorable pour nous faciliter le séjour. Nous lui en sommes très reconnaissants. Son appartement est très agréable , le jacuzzi et la vue magnifique en font une perle rare. Nous recommandons vivement cette location, encore plus appréciée grâce aux nombreux détails auxquels Tasos a pensé.

Wir haben den 10tägigen Aufenthalt mit unserem 9 Monate alten Baby sehr genossen. Das Aparment liegt direkt am wunderschönen Meer und es hat zahlreiche Restaurants, die zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Wir haben jeden Tag auf dem Balkon gefrühstückt und viel selber gekocht. Manolis hat sogar Früchstückssachen vorbereitet, was uns das Ankommen sehr erleichtert hat. Auch der Sonnenschirm und das Sandspielzeug war super.

Great brief stay after a late flight into Heraklion. Everything was super clean and comfortable. We loved the space and would recommend to anyone looking to stay close to the port or airport, but note that it is ~25 minutes to the city center.

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

L'appartement de Christina, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, bien agencé et fonctionnel, offre la possibilité de découvrir la ville d'Héraclion à pied. C'est très agréable et pratique. Je recommande !

Appartement dans un quartier central. Tout se fait à pied et Kostis donne de très bons conseil. L’arrivée à l’appartement est simple et on y a trouvé tout ce qu’il fallait pour les petits déjeuners. Très apprécié. L’appartement est confortable et le grand balcon offre une très belle vue

Susanna is a great host definitely recommend her. she has a spacious sunny clean place with a small backyard at a non touristic part of the island. always responsive and accommodative.
