This fully renovated traditional house is located in Minamiozen, Kagoshima Prefecture, the southernmost town on the mainland. When you enter the room, you will see the view of the Kinkouwan Bay spreading out across the window and Mt. Satsuma, also known as Kaihodo, on the opposite shore, and you will exclaim, "Wow!" and you'll be captivated by the blue sea. The view can be seen not only from the living room, but also from the open bathroom. You can move directly from the room to the spacious wooden deck with a BBQ stove and sink, via the deck terrace that extends from the living room. You can enjoy a relaxing private time while listening to the sound of the waves without worrying about people watching. Nearby, you can drive to Ohama Gold Beach, Sata Cape and Yukawa Falls, and Nishiharadai Panorama Park. The abundant nature along the way is also comforting. In the evening, the sunset from the living room, bathroom, and wooden deck is truly spectacular. And the starry sky after the sun sets is breathtaking. The room also has free WiFi and a projector that displays on the white wall. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and seasonings, so you can bring your own ingredients and cook. Stunning traditional house in accessible but quiet, and very cute mountainside town with the nicest train station I’ve seen. Tatami floors, sliding doors, intricate woodwork, warm light glowing in the mornings and surrounded by stunning sounds of nature. I was pleasantly surprised to have a whole massive house to myself when I thought I was renting just a room 🥲 Everything clean & even shampoo, conditioner & laundry liquid there. Ayako san is very responsive, helpful and kind! Best Airbnb experience I’ve had so far!

We had a fantastic stay here, the house is really cosy and comfortable, and the view is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, both at night and in the morning. We had breakfast on the wooden terrace, while admiring Sakurajima, and it was amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, and made sure to welcome us and explain everything when we arrived, and then say goodbye when we checked out. They even gifted us some beautiful handmade coasters! We were thrilled with our stay, and hope we can stay here again in the future. Thank you again so much for everything!

My parents' home is in Kagoshima, and I'm really grateful that you put together a trip that allowed me to rediscover the wonders of my hometown! At first, I mistakenly thought it would be on the second floor of a luxury izakaya, but you can also use the kitchen space like a shop on the first floor.　There is also a supermarket nearby, so it is quite recommended for self-catering.The atmosphere is only, and the alcohol is very refreshing.　It was quite cost-effective.
