The location is perfect, literally across the street from the church, and steps away from the bakery and good restaurant. We had a nice bbq in the backyard and sat in the backyard furniture. The kitchen was great! Good for cooking and for sitting while others are cooking. The indoor dining room was also great. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well designed and comfortable. Overall, a perfect place to stay.

Had a wonderful stay! We went cycling in the Ardennes for a weekend, the garage was perfect for storing the bikes. The four bedrooms were spacious and good (we would bring our own pillows next time). Lovely garden, spacious living room and well equipped kitchen. Céline (the host) was quick to respond to the few questions we had. Had a great stay!

Very nice and spacious home in a good location. We were kindly helped and had a good time. Small improvement is that there are still some places to find where it can be a little cleaner and we found that a lot needed to be taken with us ourselves, also the digital communication did not go 100% smoothly but that did not bother us during the stay. Had a great stay for the rest and would go back here in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay with 2 families. 5 children between 4-9 years. We hit it with the weather and there is extensive football in the lovely garden. Beautifully located, near the forest. The house has all the comforts; from games to ultra organized garage. Very clear, but many, instructions before , during and upon departure. In particular, all the cleaning instructions at the end were a bit overwhelming, if you're also packing up, and paying an 85€ cleaning fee. In our opinion, that was not quite proportionate. Overall still a good value for money for a top weekend away with 2 families! A found item was reported and sent neatly, for which thank you!

We were guests at Xavier's with three generations of our family. We were all completely satisfied. Very convenient for us that a bedroom is equipped for people with disabilities and is also easily accessible with a walker or wheelchair. We will definitely come back next year! Thanks for the great time!!

Really enjoyed our stay. The view is tough to beat and it’s an easy drive into the city. There is no TV on the property but we thought that was a plus actually and we enjoined the chance to disconnect for a few days. Would definitely go back.

We had spent with 7 couples & 1 dog here 3 perfect days…the location is fantastic (view of meadows, direct path into the forest). Everything you could ask for (and more). There are also 5 stars for cleanliness.

House rented for an EVG with 11 people. Very spacious with all the essentials for a good weekend. The room with pool, ping pong table and sauna is a real plus! The outside is very well maintained and the heated pool is very nice in the sun. Check-out was possible at 7pm on Sunday evening which allowed us to fully enjoy the weekend. Would definitely stay again.

With a friends weekend we stayed at Stephanie's place. The house is situated in a peaceful, beautiful setting and easy to reach. Initially, we received no response via AirBnB's messaging function, but it was quick and easy via app contact. We were able to discuss our arrival and departure time ourselves, which was nice. The house was very tidy upon arrival. There was even a large, cold bottle of Chouffe waiting for us in the fridge! There is enough sleeping place in the house, and enough place to sit with the group. This was really a perfect place to stay for a large group. We are very happy to have found this place!

I was able to celebrate my 30 birthday here with 9 other friends. The place is full equipped. The booking went smoothly and the communication was smooth. The whole place was very clean. We had a wonderful weekend and are super happy. We will be happy to come back.

Tidy, nice house with a garden. Spacious kitchen and living room. Nice, professionally designed terrace. The neighborhood is quiet but not deserted, the medieval village is a few minutes away on foot. Everything is floral and clean. The only thing that was a little uncomfortable was that three bedrooms are in the basement, where the air is as humid as a basement, but this can be solved with thoughtful ventilation. The staircase to the basement is very tight, this wasn't that important to us, but for someone else it might be. Overall, it's a French small town vibe, nice people, easy to get around by car with great French dining rooms in the surrounding cities.

What a house, its so quirky with lots of entertainment and space!!We had a blast, the donkeys and mini horses were so cute! We messaged the hosts when we arrive because the donkeys weren't there and they came outright away and helped us lure them in with some bread! super helpful and accommodating! Would definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay in the nice airbnb. It is very complete and spacious for 2 adults and 2 children, beautiful views over the hills and beautiful fruit trees, flowers and vegetables in the garden for which they work hard. We got delicious vegetables, herbs and fruits from the garden, the French bakery drives past the house: it was delicious! The pool was a big party for our children and so also for ourselves! The airbnb is in a rural location, nice city Metz 30 minutes drive. We felt very welcome with our host, warm and involved but also sweet for the kids. Thank you very much for everything! Au Revoir!!

Good communication, great options at the house. Pool and jacuzzi were extremely clean and nice. Wifi wasnt great but that was the only issue. Kitchen was well stocked and there was so much to do we barely had to leave the house. Would love to come back at some point!

Great Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The swimming pool was warm and inviting, perfect for relaxing at any time of day. We especially enjoyed the sauna — it was a real treat and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. Overall, it was a peaceful and well-organized place to unwind. We would definitely come back!

A really great place to stay. Extremely friendly hosts. We enjoyed the regional aperitif very much. Our kids felt right at home and used the house and garden. Kitchen equipped above average, we can't think of anything that would have been missing. With the pellet stove, we were still warm in the sometimes nasty weather (thank you again for the extra pellets). An absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to explore the original and not too touristy area.
