Definitely stay here if you have a trip to Isenthal. You'll feel right at home with Mrs. Cornelia. Everything can be arranged, the lady will be as accommodating as possible. In its modest, but great cuisine, you'll find regional dishes and more. Ms. Cornelie is a born host. You feel wanting and caring for her. She can handle English great, there was no problem communicating anything. Plus, the place is in the mountains, away from people, so if you're looking for peace of mind, this is the place! There are a number of mountain trails nearby, but walkable in the summer. In the spring around Easter, most are under the snow. It's beautiful though! The place can be reached by self-service cable car that runs every half hour. Be sure to watch the times to catch it.

The hotel is amazing, especially knowing it used to be a prison. It has an incredible location right in the center of Lucerne, so you can walk everywhere. The cleanliness was excellent, and the staff was also very attentive. The only suggestion I would make is about the showers — they’re a bit uncomfortable since everything is visible from the outside, so I think that could be improved. Other than that, I truly recommend it.

This place is a real insider tip. We are very glad that we came across it and were able to spend a wonderful time there. Daniel and Suzan are very friendly, warm hosts. We felt immediately comfortable and were lovingly received. The view from the room is simply breathtaking. Every morning there was freshly baked bread and a delicious prepared muesli with fresh fruit. Suzan prepared delicious breakfast eggs according to our wishes and we have rarely had such good coffee in a place. We were always well equipped for our day trips. The area offers excellent opportunities for hiking and relaxing, cycling and swimming. We will definitely be back.

For the price, this family room in the youth hostel was conveniently located 4 minutes walking from Local train station , 1 stop from Zug central with 25 minute connection to Zurich . Basic amenities - just a bed and bathroom and towels / soap . Friendly hostel reception helps with queries.

The room was small but very clean with everything we needed (including adapters for the plugs). We booked a paid parking space in advance, useful when arriving late at night. Check-in was easy and electronic thanks to an outside machine for collecting keys and paying for parking and my dog's presence. I had the pleasant surprise of finding a comfortable niche with bowls, adorable attention. Even though the bathroom is shared, we found it modern and clean. To visit Lucerne, staying in this Guesthouse for one night was economical for us. We recommend this listing, perfect for a short stay!

Perfect in every way! The Wanderlust Guesthouse was even better than expected! Cozy, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The location is unbeatable – right on the lake, with shopping nearby and good parking. Absolutely recommend, I'd love to come back!

Patrick’s place was exactly as described—a wonderful, quiet retreat on the outskirts of Engelberg. It has a very homey & cozy vibe. Our room was clean, spacious, and easily accessible. The instructions provided were clear, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. Towels were readily available in the room. The only minor point to note is that while a soap bar was provided, there was no liquid soap or shower gel. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

We spent one night in the sweet wooden hut and were pleasantly surprised. Everything has been thought of. Warm blankets, heating if it gets cold at night, slippers. Cornelia welcomed us very warmly and was always accommodating. The fondue set in the evening and the breakfast with the most wonderful view was our highlight and we can only recommend it! The scenery is breathtaking. You could come down very well and you can take small walks or hikes. Free parking is available downstairs in the valley station in St. Jakob. The ride on the cable car costs CHF 16 per person round trip. We would repeat exactly the same way!
