It’s all been said before but La Petite Burnie really is a gem. A lovely restoration of an old barn, really well equipped and with endless outside space so you can find the sun at any time of the day. Above all a really generous and welcoming host. Thank you Christian.

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

Outstanding, this is a wonderful place to stay & one of the best Gites we have stayed in . Everything is of exceptional quality & we highly recommend. Gimel-les-Cascades, is 5 minutes away, a beautiful village with spectacular waterfalls. We had lunch at “le Chalet de Paul” which we also recommend.

We had a pleasant family weekend in the cottage, which is very well-equipped. It is very nice to have nature and animals nearby. The sound of the stream at the foot of the cottage lulls you! The village is a 5-minute drive away and ensures essential needs are met. We recommend.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Marja was very friendly as soon as we arrived, she made sure to book us a restaurant, so we could eat, because we arrived late. Regarding the accommodation, it is just impeccable, swimming pool, garden, trampoline, tennis court, we enjoyed it! If you are looking to relax, connecting with nature is a perfect place. There are plenty of little hikes around, and the starry sky in the garden is just beautiful.

We had a great time at the hotel, small relaxing quiet and peaceful environment. Carole, very smiling and pleasant, welcomed us perfectly with the many activities available on site. We would highly recommend taking a vacation at this peaceful retreat.

Aernoud’s house is stylish, warm and very relaxing. Very comfortable beds, good quality linen, beautiful toiletries and diffusers around the house. Kitchen is very well equipped and easy to use. We stayed in February so the wood burner was wonderful! The garden is well equipped and bathed in sunshine, we would love to go back in summertime. The cinema/games room was a lovely addition. There were 7 of us and we had lots of space to spread out and relax as a group or alone. The bakery is very good and there is a restaurant in the village although it wasn’t open when we stayed. We will definitely be back!

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

We were welcomed as friends and then left to settle in and soak up the surroundings, which are just sublime. The lake and surrounding landscaping are a huge credit to Guy and Christina, just beautiful. I was helped, a lot, by Guy in my angling efforts. I managed a huge catfish which he put me onto, a memorable experience. The carp I caught, all in the mid to high twenties, were all in good condition and were returned in the same state. We would love to return next year, if time and health allow, but if not, a massive thank you to Christina and Guy for making us so welcome, your restaurant is brilliant too! Beautiful home in a wooded quiet area. Beautiful enclosed garden. Our dog really enjoyed it here and so did we! Louise is very sweet to animals and friendly and hospitable to people. Upon arrival there were snacks for our dog and a surprise for us! Top location!

Very clean, very functional accommodation that fully matches the description given. Comfortable accommodation decorated with sobriety and taste. Very nice terrace given the excellent weather we enjoyed. Well-equipped with kitchen utensils. Very convenient cellar for us who had mountain bikes.

Beautiful house in a charming location with beautiful views of the Corrèze countryside. Many board games as well as kitchenware to have a good time with friends. It would be a pleasure to return!

Yannick's cottage is very well-equipped, nothing is missing, the place is very quiet, easy to access, ideal for resting and starting walks.

We had a great family holiday. They wanted to be peaceful, with their feet in the grass between walks and small villages to visit. We found the place to be literally impeccable! There's nothing missing! MHelene is very attentive. We were able to collect chicken eggs 2x with our 2-year-old son. Dogs were also welcome. We will come back!!! Thanks again!

Beautiful home, super atypical. Renovated with care and decorated with taste. The bedding is perfect with the two large beds. We plan to return this summer to discover more of the surrounding area.
