Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!
