Nestled on the unspoiled coast of Kodi, in the enchanting South West corner of Sumba, this piece of paradise has been deliberately kept simple and authentic. We offer two spacious wooden bungalows and three cozy bamboo huts, as well as beach bales for morning meditations or lazy afternoons. Enjoy nourishing meals in our large communal kitchen and dining area, where we serve three delicious, wholesome meals daily, accompanied by complimentary snacks, fresh fruit, coconuts, tea, coffee and water.

A thatched-roof pavilion is surrounded by a wooden deck and a serene pool. Relaxing seating areas with cushions are visible, complemented by tropical plants. The coastline can be seen in the background, with palm trees enhancing the coastal ambiance.

STRICTLY FOR NON-SURFERS! Just a few steps from the beach. This room has a terrass with a view on the ocean. Ensuite Bathroom, hot water, AC. Situated on the second floor of the Main House, this room offer all modern amenities you want to rest while exploring Sumba. The owner built it with a mix of wood and local materials. Its traditional hay roof helps it to blend in its natural environement. Meals are available on pre-order.

The hosts are very kind - we were picked up from the airport and brought back. The place is super quiet and clean. The location is really right on the beach in a very quiet, green environment. There is a small beach bar with restaurant right next door. A scooter can be rented. All in all we had a great stay in Sumba! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing place! The house is pretty and clean, and when you stand on the porch you can even see the sun rising from the beach. Very pretty beaches closeby (scooter distantance) and one in the backyard :) Secluded house and 1 beach restaurant next to it, that is Very conveniënt Steven is a super friendly host, who speaks english.

Staying at Lelewatu was a wonderful experience, breathtaking views from the room, private pool, and spotless room and bathroom. Had a wonderful time here, the staff were super friendly and helpful. 5 stars 🌟 would recommend as a base for exploring the beautiful Sumba Iland. Thanks again, will be back.

Very special, beautiful and cozy place next to the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. You can surf right in front of the hotel. The daily sunsets are stunning.
