Vacation rentals in Los Tornos

I felt like staying in botanical garden of a size of a football pitch - amazing. Never seen such a big and maintained plot with various trees, flowers, swings, gazebo etc. Similar applies to the house - ground flooor provides spacious kitchen, bathroom and living space, followed by second floor with two bedrooms and bathroom. There's also big terrace with rocking chairs. We have found everything we needed in the house and kitchen, all the supplies, utensils etc. Finally we have found peace and tranquillity outside of city in between pastures, perfect just to chill and relax.

Diego was great and very responsive! Our plans changed a couple of times and he was very accommodating. The views from the house were truly amazing! It was so peaceful and quiet! We really enjoyed the horseback ride around the property with Hilario too. We are old and don’t really have much riding experience, but Hilario was very kind and patient with us. The only negative was no a/c so when we got to the house it was very hot and stuffy inside which made it difficult to get our luggage in and get settle in. The sun was hitting the back deck too, so it was too hot to be out there as well. We made due though and went and sat out by the horse stables with a glass of wine and watched the volcano and horses. The breeze there was perfect! After the sun went down, the deck was perfect. Inside the house was fine too for sleeping as long as all fans were on and leaving all doors and windows open. The hot tub was a little difficult to get warm enough in the evening but was perfect after riding

Had a comfortable stay in the Mongo Congo treehouse. Location was tucked away and secure and private. Was a bit difficult to locate at first. Once host sent some pictures of signs, found the place no problem. Beds were very comfortable and the porch swings a nice touch. Thank you. We would stay here again.

Patry was incredibly communicative and kind during our stay. The Air BnB was just as described and close to many activities. During our stay we easily visited Arenal, Místico, and Two Little Monkeys. We highly recommend Patry and this AirBnB.

This was by far the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in. The location was gorgeous and the rooms were amazing. The place was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds in the main house were a little hard, but we still slept well :) if I am fortunate enough to be back in La Fortuna, I’d love to stay here again.

Magdalena’s house is a beautiful property with a great layout and stunning views. We loved the infinity pool and the outdoor area with a gazebo, hot tub, fire pit. The A/C mini splits kept the house cool, and the water pressure and hot water were excellent. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and Magdalena brought us fresh eggs every morning, which was such a thoughtful touch. She was very responsive, and her brother helped us organize tours, making everything easy. The house is a bit far from La Fortuna, but the drive is scenic and enjoyable. The only downside was the number of bugs falling from the living room ceiling, which we had to sweep up several times a day. Magdalena explained it was likely seasonal or due to a nesting bird and was already aware of it. Despite that, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this peaceful retreat.

We loved how close to town we were but still seemed private and secluded! The area was calm and quiet we loved having breakfast outside our cabin! The area surrounding was stunning the inside was spotless !!! We also met their friendly little kitten! Place was awesome can’t stop thinking about it can’t wait for the next time we are in La Fortuna.!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fresia's place. It was a treat having actual hot water in the kitchen sink and the shower, something that we'd realized was not always the case in Costa Rica. It was a bit of a challenge to find which specific villa we were in, and how to get in once we arrived, but part of that challenge was that I hadn't read the check-in instructions I'd received until I got there, and they basically said "Reach out to your host for check in instructions". But Fre responded to my messages, told me which specific villa it was, and sent someone to help us access the villa. Fresia's assistant/property person, Anna, was extremely helpful with issues and local info/recommendations. The place is very nice; gas stove (had to go outside to turn the propane tank on initially), big fridge, comfy beds, nice sheets and towels, lovely tile floor, very spacious, lots of good stuff about the place. Very peaceful location. I would stay here again.
